The new piece is ready to dry (finally ^_^ )

Happy Sunday to you all! This morning I finished my new piece of the series of artworks called "Monolocali Biculi", a series based on the theme "houses".

For this wooden sculpture I chose to use blue and red and I love the final result! The sculpting phase was fast, but to paint it needed a bit of more time, cause I use oil colors for these pieces (I love the shades I can obtain with them) and the oil is slow to dry on the wood.

I adit I have a lot of fun every time I create a new piece of this series. My imagination works so well with them and it looks like to visit a magical world full of freaky funny characters. ^_^

Now it's time to dry for it and when it will be dried enought I'll protect it with some coats of varnish.

He was startled. He just watched me in my "Sunday version" : spots of colors on my face, chaos in my hair style and other things. 😂😂

That is so cool my dear friend. At first glance it looks like it was cut out of a dinner plate. Big hugs from me, Bruno and Monna - who's getting pushy. I was late 15 mins feeding her and she scolded me for five minutes straight.

"Monolocali Biculi" was beautiful, I like the expression that his eyes have, the color that you have chosen suits him very well, the varnish will give him a better finish.
