Weekend Engagement: Cherish Photo and Memorries
Hey everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.
Engage The Weekend Community is one of my favourate communities on Hive and now they have Challenge #17 - Share your best, worst or most cherished image. So today, I would like to join the challenge and share my best picture.
It's not about the photography contest and it's about sharing.
This was taken on the spring (Dec) 2018 and it was also my last hiking before I left the amazing country New Zealand. Honestly, I never did any hike for more than 25 years in my life until I came to New Zealand. I was not allowed to travel far from home or did any outdoor activities before because my parents always worried about their child and wanted to protect me so well.
( That's long story about my life 🙂)
I was considered as a little and weak Asian girl 😃 who was not brave and strong enough to go for a swimming in the ocean and climbing up to the mountain, well; it's shame but true.
However, this photo reminds me what I have changed and done in my life and brings me good memories. I imagined me in the picture like "a tiny person lost in the Majesty Of Nature" 🙃. Making to Mueller Hut (It is in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park and New Zealand’s highest peaks: encompassing glaciers, ice cliffs, vertical rock faces) made me so proud of myself. Plus, this was the last time that I had a chance to travel together with some amazing friends and said goodbye. I don't know when we are going to see each other again or maybe never but we had fun and happy together 🙂

Love the story behind the picture! It is always amazing for me to realize how much potential we have and to see you get out and experience things you didn't know were possible is as beautiful as the stunning landscape of New Zealand you are standing in.

Unfortunately, the weather changed and made me so struggling to finish the Hike but it was totally worth. I highly recommend Mueller Hut, you will take more beautiful photos when the sky is clear. I will be sharing more details about this trip soon

I think we are always like that in front of Nature: tiny creatures.
Fortunately, most of the time Nature is in favor and we just enjoy its grandiosity above any other thing.
Btw, looking forward to visit Aoraki Mount Cook National Park someday.
