Holding that Cub, and holding that LEO

I was fortunate to benefit from a pretty large Cub drop given my nearly 40K LEO stake, and doubly fortunate to have got into some of those crazy Cub pools early with some bleo/ BNB and stables - so I've picked up quite a nice chunk of the token.

And you know what: I'm holding and pooling most of it - I feel like CubDefi has an advantage in this whole Binance Smart Chain Defi space because it's 'merely' an offshoot of Leo, which is itself on an entirely separate chain (namely 'Hive').

The branding also works perfectly in this space, and makes absolute sense given the wider LEO brand - I just love the cute lion-cub - but unlike other Defi Platforms with their cutesy themes (like Pancake and Goose) CubFi is actually linked to an already working project - Leofinance.

AND of course there's the (indirect) bridge onto Ethereum with WLEO, which I don't think any other Binance project has.

At time of writing I'm also encouraged at how well the Cub price is holding up given the current fearsome print rate, and I can't see the price falling once the print rate drops, even though that will reduce the percentage returns in the pools: even once it drops to 1 per block rather than 3 - the returns are so high, that alone would still leave very respectable APYs.

I'm not sure how the 4% fee (high deposit fees) and burn model will work going forwards, but I'm willing to keep my coins staked and see how it goes!

Also holding LEO

Given that CUB is 'merely' part of the wider LEO ecosystem I'm going to hazard a guess that they'll be more bleo pools opening up in the future AND that these will be boosted more than other pools in order to encourage holding of the mother token, so I'm not inclined to sell more LEO than I need to, only enough swapped into BNB to increase my stake in that BNB-bLEO pool.

The price says it all!

Cub-Leo synergy and balance

Going forwards I think the fact that the LEO team now have TWO tokens to manipulate is going to be great for upward price momentum, or at the very least price stability - IF the worst comes to the worst and one crashes, just tweak an element of other to hold the price!

Swapping out some for Stables without really swapping

I'm not holding everything - but MOST - i am swapping out some for stables, namely CUB swapped for BUSD and then back into that crazy pool - which then makes more CUB, so it hardly even feels like swapping out!

Man, that is awesome. I wish I had more Leo stake so I could have gotten an airdrop like that! That is what I get for showing up to the party so late! I am with you though, these are definitely some long term holds!

I'm quite fortunate - a lot of my Steem PD went into LEO, but having anything in the platform is a great win!

I moved some of my Steem PD I to hive, but the majority of it went into WAX and BTC because the Steem to Hive exchange ratio was unfavorable at the time.

Wow, you will have done well from it. I thought I was doing okay with 2k LEO. I'm still not sure what actual use it all has that will drive value. There are so many tokens around now and it's hard to stand out. We shall see...

I know what you mean RE use value - Cub in itself has very little like all the other DEFI tokens, but it can drive value to LEO, I think, maybe, I dunno! It's been a nice few days earning at least.

a way to keep keeping those tokens would be as you say bet on the bLEO - bnb pair which in turn generates profits in cub, so far it is a win/win

I was contemplating today if I should power down my Leo and stake but decided to hold. I already have half of what I own here on the binance chain, so I think I am in a good position.

Strategy. When I do get my first $100 I will convert that to busd and return it to the den pool. The next goal will be to hit 500 $cub if possible. I am amongst the crazy people who think it will hit $50 in the next 3-4months.

I think there is a lot to come in the future for the leofinance team, so I will be stacking my earning.

With what the leofinance team has offered us, we will be able to retire in 5 years.

Cash only what you need, to close the liabilities or even better, let the liabilities be paid by the dividends without cashing out.

Boa tarde Carl,

At first I was somewhat disappointed with the airdrop amount ( I got 30 CUB ) but after having dealt with issues with Binance, a laptop that wouldn't charge and a serious cold, I am now smoothly farming and staking CUB since a day or two. It feels like a life changing opportunity and I'm proud that I've came all this way. Of course I need to thank the team of LeoFinance and all the helpful people on here too but, first and foremost, it's about seeing the opportunities and diving in.

Onward and upwards!

P.S. I also got myself a lot more cub than I received as I really believe in this and I feel that it's always the early bird that gets the fattest worm.
