Why You Should HODL Your HIVE, Lesson Learnt from Bitcoin Pizza Day!

There is an interesting article that I just read, today May 22 is exactly 11 years ago someone bought 2 Pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins.

What's interesting is, no one would have thought that the price of Bitcoin would become a valuable asset in the next decade.

Lazlo Hanyecz, a Florida resident, bought two Pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin in 2010. Interestingly, this day is remembered as Bitcoin Pizza Day.

If you look at today's Hive prices, May 22, 2021, 1 Hive does not reach 6,000 rupiahs, only $ 0.4.

To buy a glass of coffee (for example I drink a Cold Sanger) for 10,000. Then how many cups of coffee will I be able to buy in the next ten years if I see how a Lazlo buys two Pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins?

That's why HODL is such a force that not everyone can often do it.

...the virtue of HODLing

What if from now on, all we do is the same thing, to HODL Hive as long as possible and just use it sparingly? Given that Hive's age is still too young, there are still many opportunities and other unexpected things that will arise in the future.

If there is a choice between HODL and SELL? I'll go for the former unless it's an emergency and I really need to sell it.

Ah, I will also declare this day as "Hive Coffee Day", the day when I buy a cup of Cold Sanger for 1.69 HIVE, let's see, 10 years later, if I'm still alive and HIVE is still here and there, how much 1.69 HIVE will be worth?

Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day for Bitcoin Hodler, and Happy Hive Coffe day for Hive Hodler ;)
