El tiempo es el mayor activo que tenemos, el no vuelve y cuando se va solo queda el sin sabor de no haberlo empleado de la mejor manera, muchas veces no lo valoramos y deseamos más el dinero y lo que este pueda comprar, en lugar de aprovechar el tiempo de la manera adecuada con familia, amigos, esas personas importantes o simplemente con nosotros mismos leyendo algún libro y/o nutriéndonos. Hace un tiempo un vecino tuvo un ataque de limpieza y le regalo a mi madre un montón de películas, la mayoría de terror que no es para nada mi genero favorito, pero también había algunas de otros géneros y en formato mi Blu-ray y mi madre no tiene uno, pero yo sí, así llego a mí una interesante película de nombre “El precio del mañana”.

En esta película la moneda de curso legal es el tiempo y por medio de ingeniería genética han logrado detener el envejecimiento al cumplir los 25, el problema es que a partir de ese momento comienza a correr un año de gracia que te da el sistema, así que debes ganar mas tiempo si deseas continuar viviendo, además de pagar, servicios, comprar alimentos, vestir, calzar, entre otros, a esto llamo yo vivir un día a la vez, las personas están distribuidas en distintas zonas horarias residenciales de acuerdo a su estatus, cualquier parecido con la realidad hasta hora es mera coincidencia.

La película comienza mostrado como es la vida en el Gueto, donde viven los trabajadores, a quienes constantemente ves corriendo en las calles y acelerados, ya que al no ser pudientes deben trabajar en fábricas y solicitar préstamos a instituciones para solventar sus necesidades, es esta zona pobre viven Will Salas quien es personificado por Justin Timberlake y su madre de 50 años, Rachel, ella viaja por trabajo y durante ese viaje su hijo le salva la vida a un hombre rico que va al gueto al parecer fastidiado de vivir y de la injusticia de que aunque hay tiempo de sobra para todos este esta acumulado por un grupo minoritario, así mientras se esconden de una pandilla y al Will quedare dormido. este hombre de nombre Henry Hamilton, le obsequia el siglo que tiene en su reloj a Will y simplemente se aleja para morir como lo hacen quienes se quedan sin tiempo de un ataque al corazón.

Cuando su madre regresa de su viaje decide pagar la cuota atarazada del préstamo, contando con que el tiempo restante en su reloj es el suficiente para costear el pasaje del autobús, resulta que este había subido, ya que en el gueto la inflación es galopante, así que a Rachel no la dejan subir al autobús y tiene que correr intentando llegar al lugar donde su hijo la esta esperando para que este le de un poco más de tiempo y no morir, pero ya casi al momento de encontrarse la madre de Will se queda sin tempo y muere.

Tras la muerte de su madre Will decide dejar el gueto, así alquila una limosina para que lo busque y comienza a cruzar las zonas horarias las cuales están divididas por muros y para ingresar se debe cruzar por un peaje en el que se paga cada vez mayores cantidades de tiempo siendo el más caro la lujosa zona residencial New Greenwich, al llegar allí Will intenta integrare, pero parte de sus viejos hábitos lo delatan, como por ejemplo correr.

Allí conoce a una chica que es la hija del prestamista (Weis) por el que su madre y muchos otros trabajan como esclavos, para poder pagar los créditos solicitados, así logra hacerse pasar por alguien adinerado y asistir a una fiesta, pero la policía del tiempo está detrás de él ya que es el principal sospechoso de la muerte de Harrison, así llegan a la fiesta y comienza una serie de sucesos en los que Will secuestra a Sylvia y esta al darse cuenta de lo poco que vale su vida sin tiempo y de que su padre es incapaz de preocuparse por otra persona que no sea el mismo, así Will y Sylvia se unen y comienzan a portarse como Robin Hood robando a los ricos para darle a los pobres y desenmascarando al sistema en el que los ricos explotan a los más desvalidos y aumentan los precios de todo para ellos poder vivir holgadamente y de ser posible eternamente. Además de que Will comienza descubrir el verdadero motivo tras la muerte de su padre.

Lo que más me gusta de esta película es que nos muestra que realmente el tiempo es nuestro mayor activo, podemos tener dinero en cantidad y comprar con el muchas cosas, pero sin tiempo no podemos disfrutar de nada y por ello debemos invertirlo bien.

Some time ago a neighbor had a cleaning attack and gave my mother a lot of movies, mostly horror which is not at all my favorite genre, but there were also some of other genres and in my Blu-ray format and my mother does not have one, but I do, so I got to me an interesting movie called "The Price of Tomorrow".

In this movie the legal tender is time and through genetic engineering they have managed to stop aging when you turn 25, the problem is that from that moment begins to run a year of grace that gives you the system, so you must earn more time if you want to continue living, in addition to pay, services, buy food, clothing, shoes, among others, I call this living one day at a time, people are distributed in different residential time zones according to their status, any resemblance to reality so far is mere coincidence.

The film begins by showing what life is like in the Ghetto, where the workers live, who you constantly see running in the streets and accelerated, since not being wealthy they must work in factories and apply for loans to institutions to meet their needs, in this poor area live Will Salas who is personified by Justin Timberlake and his 50 year old mother, Rachel, she travels for work and during this trip her son saves the life of a rich man who goes to the ghetto apparently annoyed to live and the injustice that although there is plenty of time for everyone this is accumulated by a minority group, so while they hide from a gang and Will will fall asleep. There he meets a girl who is the daughter of the moneylender (Weis) for whom his mother and many others work as slaves, in order to pay the requested credits, so he manages to pass himself off as someone wealthy and attend a party, but the time police are after him as he is the main suspect in Harrison's death, So they arrive at the party and begins a series of events in which Will kidnaps Sylvia and she realizes how little her life is worth without time and that her father is incapable of caring for anyone other than himself, so Will and Sylvia join forces and begin to behave like Robin Hood stealing from the rich to give to the poor and unmasking the system in which the rich exploit the underprivileged and increase the prices of everything for them to live comfortably and if possible eternally. In addition, Will begins to discover the true motive behind the death of his father.

What I like most about this film is that it shows us that time is really our greatest asset, we can have money in quantity and buy with it many things, but without time we can not enjoy anything and therefore we must invest it well.
