Fungi Friday. COPRINUS DISSEMATUS. A miniature white forest.
One of the most common mushrooms to observe in Costa Rica, but also one of the most interesting due to the beautiful groups that resemble a beautiful miniature white forest.
I found these mushrooms while walking on a family trip to photograph some ancient ruins in the province of Cartago, Costa Rica. Around the building there are areas of the ground covered with grass which accumulate a lot of humidity and it seems to be an ideal place for the growth of these beautiful mushrooms.

Cute!
Can a mushroom even be considered cute? 🍄
sure! no problem about that; and, you know, they can even be fluffy! or plush!

Yes of course! 😄
