Travel Digest #1390
Introduction
Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest. Another difficult curation day for me! We have so much good posts that I had a hard time choosing those that should be included in this digest. Anyway, in our featured posts, we have a city in Austria, a valley in Italy, and a tour in Istanbul, Turkey. Enjoy and have a great week ahead!
All featured posts are visible on the Editors Choice Map and upvoted by @pinmapple, @blocktrades, @theycallmedan and the curation trail. For more travel digests check out #traveldigest.

🥇 Visit Graz!! The green 💚 from Austria 🇦🇹 maybe your next citytrip after Corona!? (ger./eng.) 📷 by @reiseamateur
Graz, with its almost 300,000 inhabitants, is a small city in terms of numbers, but it is still the second largest city in Austria. It is located southeast of Austria and is the capital of Styria. Thanks to its location, it enjoys a very Mediterranean climate. In the heart of Graz there is a quite well preserved fortress called Schlossberg. On it is also the landmark of the clock tower. Its clock face has a special feature: The minute hand is the smaller hand and the hour hand is the larger hand. This had to do with the fact that in earlier times the population could better estimate the time. The fortress is also one of the few in Europe that has never been captured. This is also due to the fact that once you could buy free from the French.

🥉 Exploring Instanbul Day 3 - "Dolmabahçe" Palace, "Fener" District & "Bosphorus" Cruise by @knowhow92
This place is unbelievably big. It covers an area of 45,000 m2 and has more than 350 rooms in total! Our guide told us that more than 15,000 kg of gold were used to decorate the palace and the construction lasted for more than 20 years.
