Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan with today's #TravelDigest. Wow! It seems it wasn't that long ago we were celebrating Pinmapple's 1000th edition of the Travel Digest, now we're on our 1200th edition. Thanks to everyone for coming on this awesome journey with us!!!

Today, we're going start off with two slightly different travel posts in our Top 3 Pinmapple posts. They are more of a travel experience rather than travelling to places. One is a bunging jumping experience in Ecuador, definitely not one for the faint hearted, and the other is about the busking scene in Bosnia. Our final Top 3 post is reliving a trip to Portugal before Covid. Hope you enjoy all these posts as well as all the Honourable Mentions. Enjoy!

All featured posts are visible on the Editors Choice Map and upvoted by @pinmapple, @blocktrades, @theycallmedan and the curation trail. For more travel digests check out #traveldigest.

Our winners today 🍍

🥇 SALTARIAS DE UN PUENTE? // WOULD YOU JUMP OFF A BRIDGE? [Sp/En] by @ela.muds

" Day after day I visited the bridge without daring to make the decision. So much respect is imposed by this adventure that it was not until the last day in Baños that I decided that I could not leave without doing it, after all, every day I had seen people jumping the bridge, it could not be so risky. Besides, when would I ever be there again? maybe never. So I took courage and decided that it would be best, once there, not to think about it too much. I had noticed that people were getting more and more nervous every second as they were delaying the jump. "

🥈 The buskers of Sarajevo by @tarotbyfergus

"One of the times I was listening to this girl, a police officer told her to stop, and if she found her singing again she would call child protection services. When I returned the next day, she was singing at the same time that she always sings, just a little further down the street. The buskers' relationship with the police is very strange in Sarajevo, and I'm pretty sure it is different with every officer and every busker."

🥉 PORTUGAL REVISITED - 2019 was a good year (Part five) - São Bernardino by @thermoplastic

"on our way, driving from Praia da Areia Branca northwards my friend Paulo took a road just off the main road to take me for lunch at a "all-you-can-eat" place, sort of a insider tip that is a bit off the beaten tourist part. We spent over 3 hours there eating through the sumptuous offerings and washing it down with bottomless drinks (beer and juice in refillable liter jugs). The best part was the bill: for all we ate, it cost € 12.- per person! "
