Noosa Heads , Queensland , Australia.
Last weekend my friend and his wife were coming from Sydney to visit me in Byron Bay and we had planned to take a drive to Noosa Heads just for a couple of days break away from all these covid-19 restrictions , i knew we could all be free and more relaxed on these beautiful white sand beaches for a couple days.
After my friends arrived from Sydney that evening we all settled in for a nice evenings dinner and a early night as we were going to set of early in the morning for Noosa Heads it's less then a 4 hour drive from from Byron Bay going pass Brisbane city on to Highway along the coastline of Australia to get some beach action.
Australia does really have some of the most beautiful coastlines and we were in no hurry we were making a few stops along the way just to enjoy the breathtaking views and snap off a few shots the morning started of with blue skies but turned a little cloudy but that wasn't going to stop us from having fun.
The cloudy conditions was not stopping the surfers.
Even got to see a rainbow along the way.
After another stop along the coastline a few more photos we were back on the road again and about one hour away from Noosa Heads beach it's quite a holiday destination not only for Australia's but for many overseas tourist. Noosa Heads is a coastal town and suburb of the Shire of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia with a population of near 4,500 people.
The part of Noosa Heads we were heading to was away from the normal beach areas where people are swimming around we were heading further up to the wider areas of white sands where you can drive your 4WD along the beach sand. Something i haven't done before because i don't own a 4WD but my friend did and he wanted to try this as he had never driven on a beach before either and actually i was surprised it was a pretty smooth drive along the sandy beach.
Reaching our destination on the wide white sands of Noosa Heads beach was just memorizing the skies had clear up to a warm blue and the turquoise waters looked very welcoming and we were all excited to jump in for a dip of course the girls didn't waste any time to soak up the beauty surrounding them.
Super girl was more then excited and this was her way of showing that 😊
While the boys were more interested in playing with there smartphones..lol
Apparently you can do a 6 hour tour with a tour guides between Noosa Heads and Rainbow Beach if you don't have a 4WD this will include picking you up from your hotel , going through national parks soaking up all the breathtaking views and along the way if you are lucky you may see whales , dolphins gathering, many variety of native birds, the native flora and the colored sands. Even though we had a 4WD we were not geared up to do that but certainly would have loved to do that next time around maybe but we did see flocks of birds , Kookaburras , Parrots and this awesome Turtle that decided to come ashore to say hello to us without any fear or worries about us.
And again Super girl was overwhelmed and excited seeing that Turtle 😁
Surfing classes are also available on the beach.
Noosa Heads has really got a lot to offer it's a place were you are surrounded by Beaches, National Parks and Rivers and Noosa Heads has a real laid back coastal vibe where you can feel relaxed and there are many restaurants, cafes and bars that you can choose from all with breathtaking views after our much excitement day we all headed over to a Thai restaurant as we all love Thai food.
After a nice healthy Thai feed we were ready for a stroll along the beach to burn off a few calories and enjoy the stunning sunset glowing across the ocean by this time it had gotten a little cooler which made it a more pleasant walk.

My pleasure man ;) Keep them coming.
That's such a wonderful scenery! The coastline looks beautiful, and the water is crystal clear. Given how many ships pass around Malaysia's waters, I've found it rather hard to find coastal areas and waters that are this blue. You'd have to travel far out onto an island to find beaches like these <3
We are lucky in Australia having coastline all around our country and all the waters are clean and clear but i do know Malaysia has some great beaches but as you said you need to travel far out of the city.
We do have some awesome beaches, no doubt. From what I've experienced though, one really has to go far away from the mainland to experience nice, clean waters. The best I've been to are Tioman, and Perhentian Islands. Truly spectacular places to visit...
Now they are amazing i knew you had some awesome beaches there and even though a bit far certainly worth the trip 👍
It's certainly worth the visit if you're ever dropping by! Depending on how big those islands are, and there's quite a variety of them, you could either take a flight, or a ferry out there. Thankfully, I didn't get sea-sick while on the boat to either one 😅
It would be nice i have so many places on my bucket list that i would like to visit but i don't know if i have enough years in my life to do it all 😂
Lol, I have the same problem. Far too many places to visit, and not enough time or money! I wonder if I could take some inspiration from Around The World In 80 Days... Just build a giant hot air-balloon and float from one continent to the next 😅
WOw thats such a beautiful outing and such wonderful and refreshing views, Ihow cool to come across that turtle and now my stomach is rumbling after seeing the food and I must start on lunch for us
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
