Hello itinerants all over the world and hive community! What's up with you guys? Today's lovely weather is indeed giving me such a good mood.

For today's episode, I am going to share my cool experience and some photos my friends and I took during our trip in Virgin Island, Philippines. I've heard that there are already international flights coming in and out of the country and some of you might consider visiting the Philippines and would happen to visit Cebu. I hope to write this as your future reference.

Cebu is not just known for its mouth-watering delicacy but also for its numerous breath-taking beach resorts and islands. I can say that one of my favorites is the Virgin Islands.

Living the beach life you ever dream of, can be your routine here in the "Queen City of The South" for it is surrounded by almost 200 incredible smaller islands. My favorites by far are Mactan, Bantayan, Camotes Islands, Olango and Malapascua. I would like to share this stunning Virgin Island. If ever you stay in Bantayan, they would usually offer island hopping to Virgin island.

A perfect place to escape away from the City. The Island is well developed and taken care of. The sand and water are truly appreciated for it's very pristine and clean. I suggest if you want to visit this Island make it a couple of days or more for you to enjoy it's beauty day and night. In our case we only had a day trip and did Island hopping.

The coconut trees are just so refreshing. They have nice hammocks to chill out. I can surely just spend the whole day enjoy the view while drinking a bottle of beer or a glass of juice. Just be mindful to always bring a sunscreen with you.

You can see a school of fish around the small and shallow coral reef in front of the beach, so don't forget your snorkeling gears when you come here. Unfortunately we didn't bring ours. For some people, they find this place nice with decent snorkeling but definitely overpriced for what u get. Like from the entrance to the things in the Island have a cost. But I can't tell much because we didn't stay that long for we still had other Islands visited.

Definitely this Island is very accommodating when it comes to foreign visitors. They really invested a lot decorating / beautifying the island. No questions to it's maintenance because the Island is truly well-maintained. I think the reason why it's a bit pricey because it's private-owned but it is worth it.

You'll definitely have no trouble with your accommodation in Bantayan because there are a lot of available room for rents and homestays nearby. You can book your stay in advance via online so you can get great discounts and it would be less hassle for you when everything is ready and organized ahead of time.

We conveniently had our meals just outside our homestay. I can say that Bantayan is one of the most commercialized islands in Cebu since there are already a lot of business and establishments built and most of them are owned by foreigners. It has plenty of small eateries and touristy restaurants. They also have lively night life where you can meet a lot of locals and tourists.

That's basically it, if it happens that you have visited the place already, please care to share your experiences in the comment section below. Everyone's glad to hear the stories of yours! Just always remember that learning is a lifetime process. You can learn from your experiences, trips and from other people. The world is so vast. Explore and Learn! Traveling isn't is as expensive as you think! There's a so called travelling on a frugal way with a purpose! I will be posting the second part of my Singapore Trip as soon as possible. Stay tuned then.

DEUCES!
