I seek more conflict.

When we are arguing, we are learning.

But only sometimes.

Oh, we seem done learning. I know that I don't know everything, but we live in a world where it is very hard to confess that.

At least I've stopped saying "I know" about things. I was, like 22? I felt like it was every third sentence out of my mouth. I knew I was doing it, and saying it habitually, and I couldn't figure out how to stop it. No one told me it was annoying, but it sure as heck annoyed me.

There's a monster in my brain. It's telling me to do/be/see more. And it's a constant conflict. And the thing is, it's hard to believe that it's wrong. It seems right. Like it tells me stuff like to look at my phone less. Or to look at the sky or whatever. And sure, that's good. and I just... where is happiness? It's here, sure. I feel happy a lot, but that's not the be all and end all, I think. It's being someone who actively something something. I am avoiding the words that might be wrong. My dog ate a bunch of cat food and now he has stinky farts. I noticed the stinky farts before I knew he'd eaten the cat food, but that's the explanation right there.
