Today we will continue the tour of the museum located in Vyborg. Recently I talked about the historical exhibits presented there, and also showed a part of the hall where some paintings and graphic works were exhibited. Today's part of the exhibition will be dedicated to the Vyborg Castle itself and the reflection of its image in the works of various artists.

The exhibition is quite interesting. You can see how much the creative approaches, techniques and styles of local painters and graphic artists differ. There are many works in oil, acrylic, there are watercolor works and even linocuts and etchings. In one place, even someone made prints of different stages of the engraving work, arranging them in order.

Mostly the paintings are not very large. Mostly 4050 or 5070 cm. But there are non-standard square or highly elongated works. Some of them are in beautiful frames, but oil paintings are often exhibited without frames. Rarely, but there are paintings about a meter or a little more across.

Everywhere in the plots there is the main attraction of the city – the Castle on the island. Artists have displayed this corner in different ways, giving it a sunny, joyful look, or painting the castle gloomy and against the background of a cloudy sky.

That day we walked around the museum for a long time, looking at its exhibits. Tomorrow our way will lie in the historical part of the expositions, where we will see the clothes and household items of local peoples who lived in these parts several centuries ago.

Сегодня мы продолжим экскурсию по музею, расположенному в Выборге. Недавно я рассказывал об исторических экспонатах, представленных там, а также показал часть зала, где были выставлены некоторые живописные и графические работы. Сегодняшняя часть выставки будет посвящена самому Выборгскому замку и отражение его образа в творчестве разных художников.

Выставка достаточно интересная. Можно заметить, как сильно отличаются творческие подходы, техники и стили местных живописцев и художников-графиков. Здесь много работ маслом, акрилом, имеются акварельные работы и даже линогравюры и офорты. На одном месте даже кто-то сделал оттиски разных этапов гравюрной работы, расположив их по порядку.

В основном картины не очень крупных размеров. В основном 4050 или 5070 см. Но попадаются нестандартные квадратные или сильно вытянутые работы. Часть из них в красивых рамках, но масляные картины часто выставлены без рамок. Редко, но имеются картины примерно метр или чуть больше в поперечнике.

Везде в сюжетах присутствует главная достопримечательность города – Замок на острове. Художники по разному отобразили этот уголок, придав ему солнечный радостный вид, либо нарисовав замок хмурым и на фон облачного неба.

В тот день мы ещё долго ходили по музею, рассматривая его экспонаты. Завтра наш путь будет лежть в историческую часть экспозиций, где мы увидим одежду и предмметы быта местных народов, живших в этих краях несколько веков назад.
