Greetings to the community, today I present this portrait that I have made of the impressive Lily Collins, who seems to me one of the most beautiful women in all of Hollywood, I'll be honest with you, the portrait does not look like much, and I feel a little bad of not being able to honor the beauty of this girl but I think that for now I am on the right track so I hope that in future portraits I will be able to find the resemblance, finally you will be able to notice that the portrait is not completely finished, this is because I am trying to imitate the technique of an Instagramer that I like a lot called yoshi012345, I think I will dedicate a little more to this pencil portraits so I am looking forward to your comments, thanks in advance.

Portrait Phases

As always I start with the structure of the portrait trying to get everything in place and then proceed with the shadows.

In this phase I go fully with what the life of every drawing represents for me, that is, the eyes of the character and other main features of the face.

I confess that at this point I was very tempted to shade all the hair but I chose to be disciplined and follow the yoshi technique, since if I learn this in future portraits I will have more tools.

To finish and make the portrait stand out, I decided to make it this very typical background of all of us who do portraits and in the end, as always, I edited a little in the photo editor to highlight the light-dark tones.
