WEDNESDAY WALK - A Trip to Melkbos and a walk along the beach
Good day everyone! This is the first time I am posting to the Wednesday Walk community (I think) from sunny Cape Town, South Africa. With the weather we have been getting, it is just correct for us to go to the beach!
We live in a neighborhood, around 15mins drive up the West Coast from Cape Town. This area is however super busy and built up. It has a decent nightlife and it has a nice beach area, but its quite a steep slope until you get the rocks of Blaauberg.
Another 15-20min drive north on the West Coast you espace "the City" vibe of Cape Town and step into a typical West Coas Village type of vibe. The beach here has a long shallow gradient which means its super flat and stable. It also means that it has a very long wide beach to walk on.

What a wonderful day it was...

We were playing a game of tag. Got to be quick to catch them kids! 😅

Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
If I could, I would move to that area. It's not that far, but those extra 20mins of driving makes a huge difference.

It really was just so lovely to put my feet in the water again! What a lovely walk this was. I've missed the beach so much!
