Attending the 16th Year Celebration of "Parolan Festival"

Hello Hivers! What's up, what's up? You might be wondering what's woth me today, I sound so happy and hyper, lol. But even if you're not asking, I will still you all the reason why. And let me also share the fun time that we had in our little walk last night. Well, can you consider it "Little Walk" if we stay there for almost 3 hours, lol.

So without further ado...

So, I will feature the Parolan Festival that take place Yesterday, December 01, 2022. Of course I will share the "Parol" that was created by different Barangays here in our place, Bansud Oriental Mindoro. I took these in daylight so I will share the raw version of it. As in no lights yet and something. I will write a different version of this on a different blog, but this time it is in Night View.

When we arrive here exactly at 5:22 p.m, this is what greeted us. A bus of Shakey's Pizza. I am so tempted to buy pizza in there but I just stop myself because I have limited cash on my pocket, lol.

They are located in a good spot here as you can see. The weather that day is really not that good but we still push ourselves to go in there. But there's a tent in here naman so nothing to worry about.

There's a lot of vendors in here too. You know walking in a good place is really good if you have a food in your hands. We have that here and you can enjoy different varieties of foods. From instant food and street foods. I will also share that on different blog in Market Friday.

And look how crazy the number of people in here who attended is! There's really a lot. This is just on one side of our Plaza de Bansud. You can see more of them in different directions, where they can enjoy a lot of beautiful Christmas villages. I don't have a picture of them yet, but I will make sure to capture some of their pictures and share them here.

Now, for the main features for today's blog. We have 13 Parol because Bansud has 13 Barangays. This was created on each of them, Barangay Alcadesma,Barangay Bato, Barangay Conrazon, Barangay Malo, Barangay Manihala, Barangay Pag-asa, Barangay Poblacion, Barangay Proper Bansud, Barangay Rosacara, Barangay Salcedo, Barangay Sumagui, Barangay Proper Tiguisan and Barangay Villa Pag-Asa.

And this event started here in Bansud way back 2007 and yesterday is the 16th year that we are celebrating this event. And just like always it is still full of fun that will surely enjoy not just by the adult but especially for kids. It just stop when Pandemic hit the world but now we are okay na so it is back again. And we are the happy people of the Municipality of Bansud.

And I heard from the host last night that, Bansud is the Christmas Capital of Oriental Mindoro. I can't help but to feel proud, hahaha. Well, to be honest, with the number of people that visit Bansud, or particularly Plaza de Bansud, they should really consider this as the Christmas Capital of Oriental Mindoro.

I mean, even people from other Municipality really travel from hours just to visit Plaza de Bansud. It is not even Fiesta yet but the number of people is just too many. You can expect more people to come here every night for sure. People who wants to enjoy their day or to have a jamming time can easily travel here and enjoy the view.

And this what we called "Pailaw" or the decorations of lights in Plaza de Bansud will last until Fiesta so yeah, it is a long happy time for the people here. And these are what really drawn people here. Those decorations that everyone loves.

I know there's a lot of people here but I have my facemask and so, I can freely walk around here without anyone disturbing me hahaha. You know some might really recognize, hihi. My old friends or former classmates, something like that.

Anyways let me share this Parol from Poblacion. I am from Poblacion that is why. And this is our Barangay's Entry for this Parolan Festival. I hope you all enjoy it yes?
