Family over everything

By the grace of God, I'm doing my best to help as much as possible people that needs my help according to my capacity. Because sometimes I feel like helping some people but in the long run I find out that I don't have what it takes to help them financially. One of the things I learnt and inherit from my dad is giving, being kind to my fellow humans.
My dad can give to anyone as far as that thing is within his capacity, helping people is not a big deal to him. This exact attribute is what I also find myself doing most times, even times that's not convenient.
Sometime ago, my dad actually gave his younger brother his first car, with no hope of buying another anytime soon.

I've also tried and I'm still trying my best in providing for people I've the capacity to help.
I should talk about my lovely wife but I don't want to go emotional right now hahaha maybe some other time I'll do that, for now I'll be talking about my former family, yeah it's now my former family because I now have mine, which is my wife and I. So talking about my former family, you know just as they say that family over everything, anything that concerns my family, I can go extra mile to look for the solution, I don't want anything bad no matter how minute it can can be to happen to them, I just want my family to be at peace and enjoy life as much as possible, I pray my prayer will come to fulfilment.

Few years ago, my dad retired from his work, the job was with a private company, meaning there's nothing like pension after retirement, you just have to start leaving with what you might have saved while working or if your boss or company are good people, they can compensate you while retiring and it might not be something that will sustain you for long.
To cut the long story short, my dad retired and so he had to start managing his life with the little he had saved and what we the children can support him with.
Meanwhile the last born of the house just finished secondary school and was about entering higher institution, directly or indirectly, the responsibility is definitely on us her elder brothers and sisters.

Well I thank God for the grace and privilege giving to me to be able to support her when she needs the help. We all know what the country (Nigeria) is saying now as regards the price of things, everything has skyrocket, it's one thing to gain admission, it's another thing to be able to sort the bills. Talking about accomodation, feeding, school fees and other expenses, one would spend nothing less than five hundred thousand naira as a fresher depending on the kind of school though.
Unfortunately, I didn't have much as at that time she was about entering the university, trust me I have to go extra mile to look for the money just to make sure she's fine.

Many times I've also tried to talk to her about what school life is, it's what I've been through, so I can always share my experience and teach her the right way to go. And as a man, I know how deceitful some guys can be, all in the name of sleeping with a girl they can go any length, pretending as if they are saint and when they get what they want, they start showing their true identities. I'm glad she's doing fine in school already and I pray she completes her education in flying colours.
