Geography and Environmental Science The Antidote to an Ailing World

I am graduate of Geography and Environmental Science from the prestigious Federal University of Ilorin, Ilorin Kwara State. I fell in love with nature right from College through Field Trips, Excursions due to the little exposure I had woth physical components of nature, which brings about many unanswered questions and thirsty to see more of what's out there prompt me to go for the Course I went for.

A Field that has to do with the total Human-Nature Relationship with an aim to have a knowledge of and manage the use of land, it's patterns and the influences it has on the environment thereafter.

With Geography we are a able to fathom what planet Earth that house human entails. We are concerned with both the physical and human aspects of our environment which revolves around the study of our natural environments (land, air, water, plants. Animals), Economies, Human-Environment interaction ( Industrialization, use of Natural Resources, Energy Generation, Mining, Manufacturing,, Deforestation, Pollution among others), how it affects the Natural Environment and it's implications on we human.

Why Is It Important In Our Days Now
An effective management procedure helps in reducing carbon emissions, prevents pollution, and in processing all the waste and wise usage of energy and resources. The pattern of our usasge of the environment and what it has in stock for us will one day destroy everything if not properly controlled and managed.
Our knowledge of Geography inflences our choice of Location for Transport, Construction and Agricultural site.
Also it comes in handy in the exploration of mineral deposits, Problem Solving, Stabilizing Atmospheric Chemistry, Preventing Global Climate Change, Conservation and Transformation of the Nature.
