Café del Lago, an enchanted place in El Salvador.

I had the opportunity to visit Laguna Verde, a beautiful mirror of water nestled at the top of the mountain.

In this place, which is one of my favorites for its lush flora and fauna and enchanted climate, we found a surprise: a relatively new place, so when we arrived we were surprised by a high-quality café. So when you come to El Salvador, the first thing you should do is go try the coffee, desserts, and the very beautiful view, with a lovely, very fresh and pleasant climate.

They have a great variety of coffee and brewing methods as well, and the place is surrounded by nature. Of course, the design evokes this so you can enjoy your exquisite drink outdoors, accompanied by a dessert up to the coffee’s standard, as you can see.

That combination of factors makes this place a great spot for a pleasant stay at reasonable and comfortable prices with unmatched quality, which you can see in their menu.

It has a beautiful terrace from where you can enjoy your coffee while looking out over all of Laguna Verde in all its splendor. So now you know, this place is worth visiting if you come to El Salvador. To get there, there are ATV tours whose cost varies from US$25.00 to US$80.00, depending on whether you go alone or bring your whole family. These tours depart from the town of Apaneca, and you drive along magical roads winding through the mountain in a very impressive wooded area. You’ll be able to see the photos of the ATVs there.

So welcome to a new option to enjoy excellent high-altitude coffee made with the method you prefer. In my opinion, it’s a great place—you’ll hardly find a place like this in the world, because cafés are usually in populated areas, and finding this in a remote area with strict quality is magical.
