I couldn’t help myself but do a (slightly angry looking 😂) nod to Noddy Holder..
I’m taking stock of all the good things going on in my life right now, and Hive ranks up there very high on the scale! It’s the only social platform I actually enjoy being on.
(Actually Twitter does have some very funny stuff, occasionally Instagram too)
Our family Christmas is a fairly low-key thing.
The kids have had fun, if slightly over doing it on the sweets and energy.
A nice normal dinner, some fun daft gifts and some nice ones.
We try to in-still in the kids that’s it isn’t all about presents. This time of year is all about people.
Everyone has (some) holiday off work and we get to relax and enjoy the company with everyone together.
Everyone is available to be with or share however you want. The presents are an excuse to meet and a feel good factor. Not the main event. People are.
That’s what makes Hive perfect too.
It’s the people.
The people and the community make Hive what it is all year round. 👊🏻
So with that in mine, thank you for supporting my Hive journey and Merry Christmas from me and my family.

Yeah, I got that. You chose black instead of the usual red. What inspired you for that?
It was for a band I was in years ago. We always wear black because it was a punk rock band.
We did a Christmas show and decided to go all black but in Santa costumes. We did just that.
Still got the hat!

Honestly I also prefer HIVE over other platforms, I find it better than Twitter and Instagram, although it depends on each person! It's like this, Christmas is not only gifts, it also means being able to enjoy with loved ones! To forgive, to be happy, it's a time where we can do a lot of things.

The 'you know what' slightly thwarted the original Christmas day plan for my husband and I. I suspect we weren't the only family that this happened to... Anyway, I think we made the best of it - drinking champagne and watching Dune. :)

Ahh it was ok. There are people who have had it far worse this year. That is so sad that your friend couldn't be with his family. It's been very tough for some people.
The main winners in our house were the cats, who were puzzled that we had locked up the house and the cat flap, driven off in a packed up car, only to return 4 hours later, laden with ham, sausages, and all kinds of delicious treats! :)

Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance it good to teach kids that all is not about present but people because when you have people you have everything with this they will be able to value people more than the gift they will receive from them.
