I think the problem lies with us humans as users and followers of media. The corporations do what they want, because they legally can. The media does what it wants because they have the power. Same goes for governments, because they are at the top. BUT... who gives them that power? We do. An entity is only as strong and important as the value we allow it through the attention we give it.
Sure, I could say that me alone not voting or not using facebook (often) will not change things, but because everyone thinks like that we don't realize how much power we have if we stand as one against the "big guys". How come when we have to vote "every vote counts", but the same argument cannot be used to not vote.
The bigger problem lies with people acting out of self interests and ignorance, but that's a whole other paragraph.
OKay... I agree with you about giving power... If you watch some shit on television, they will serve you more of that shit in the future... The same goes for the Internet, YT, FB... Just look at the ads that you see... You got what you were asking for... the same goes with power... You support LIES, well, they will give you more... lol... Simple as that...
Regarding voting, I have mixed feelings, as if you vote between 2 idiots, and without any alternative, then, I don't want to be part of it... Especially, if the game is rigged, and usually it is...
And finally, I agree that every VOICE counts... every single person is important, as it adds up... that's why is important that we speak up now, to inspire and motivate others to follow us and speak their truth...

The problem with voting is that it's almost always between 2 or more idiots and the game is always rigged. Democracy is theoretically a very good system for fair governance, unfortunately humanity itself is a cancer to itself.
