Un día como Dios Hindú 🤴🏽 / A day like Hindu God 🤴🏽

¡Hola, comunidad! Ciertamente he estado alejado un poco de la red, pero se debe a los múltiples proyectos en los que ando y por los que doy gracias. Este ha sido un año bastante movido para mí; transformarme y expandir mis límites mentales y físicos, indudablemente es a lo que me dedicado.

Hello community! Certainly I have been away from the network a bit, but it is due to the many projects that I am working on and for which I am thankful. This has been a very busy year for me; transforming myself and expanding my mental and physical limits is undoubtedly what I do.

Hoy les traigo unas fotografías tomadas en una obra de teatro que se llevó a cabo este martes en un famoso centro cultural de la ciudad. La obra fue parte de una ofrenda a una festividad hindú. Cómo pueden ver por el vestuario utilizado, la historia está orientada en una época antigüa, llena de mucho misticismo y mitología.

Today I bring you some photographs taken in a play that took place this Tuesday in a famous cultural center of the city. The work was part of an offering to a Hindu holiday. As you can see from the costumes used, the story is oriented in an ancient time, full of much mysticism and mythology.

Se trata de la aparición de Nrisimha, uno de los Avatares de Visnhu, quien a su vez es uno de los Dioses principales del hinduismo, y se le atribuye la preservación del universo y la vida misma, unido a Brahma quien es el que crea los universos y Shiva, Dios destructor de todo lo que ya ha cumplido su ciclo. Su encarnación, a quién es dedicada esta festividad, tiene una forma parecida a la de un león, con la excepción de que la parte inferior de su cuerpo es humana, aunada a cuatro fuertes brazos; una figura sin duda aterradora, pero que se le atribuye ser protectora de todos los que tienen fe en lo divino.

It is about the appearance of Nrisimha, one of the Avatars of Visnhu, who in turn is one of the main Gods of Hinduism, and is attributed the preservation of the universe and life itself, together with Brahma who is the one who creates the universes and Shiva, destroyer God of all that has already completed its cycle. His incarnation, to whom this festival is dedicated, has a shape similar to that of a lion, with the exception that the lower part of his body is human, together with four strong arms; a figure no doubt terrifying, but one credited with being the protector of all who have faith in the divine.

Mi personaje fue el Dios Indra, una deidad muy venerada en los tiempos védicos pero que fue degradado luego de la llegada de la creencia en Dioses como los primeramente mencionados. Me resultó interesante no sólo lo relativo que es visto el poder o influencia de una deidad dependiendo de una época dentro de incluso la misma cultura, sino también cómo se entremezclan las mitologías aparentemente diferentes. Cómo es el caso de este Dios Indra, quien es catalogado como el Dios del Cielo, la lluvia, el trueno y la guerra; atributos que también han sido otorgados a Dioses como Thor de la mitología Nórdica y Zeus de la Griega.Todo esto me ha hecho pensar lo tonto o necio que es ver tantas diferencias entre una religión u otra. Al final todos los caminos llegan a la verdad.

My character was the God Indra, a very venerated deity in Vedic times but who was degraded after the arrival of the belief in Gods as the first mentioned. It was interesting to me not only how relative the power or influence of a deity is seen depending on a time within even the same culture, but also how seemingly different mythologies intermingle. How is the case of this God Indra, who is cataloged as the God of Heaven, rain, thunder and war; attributes that have also been granted to Gods like Thor from Norse mythology and Zeus from the Greek. All this has made me think how silly or foolish it is to see so many differences between one religion or another. In the end all roads lead to the truth.

Tenía mucho tiempo sin hacer teatro, ya unos cuatro años. De verdad me dió mucho gusto volver a interpretar un personaje y sentir toda esa adrenalina y sensación que recorre nuestros cuerpos antes de salir al escenario. Sin lugar a dudas aún es una pasión en mi vida. Me siento agradecido.🙏🏼

I had not done theater for a long time, already about four years. It really gave me great pleasure to play a character again and feel all that adrenaline and sensation that runs through our bodies before going on stage. Without a doubt it is still a passion in my life. I am grateful. 🙏🏼
