Resulta casi imposible concebir la vida sin poseer manos. Son, de hecho, nuestras extremidades más preciadas. A través de ellas al menos la mitad de la vida se experimenta. Podemos tocar un instrumento, acariciar a nuestros seres queridos, escribir, cocinar, entrenar, trabajar, entre muchas cosas.
It is almost impossible to conceive of life without having hands. They are, in fact, our most precious limbs. Through them at least half of life is experienced. We can play an instrument, caress our loved ones, write, cook, train, work, among many things.
Hoy me toca agradecer por ellas y me parece sorprendente lo indispensables que son en mi vida. Sin ellas no podría practicar mi amado Karate, ni hacer yoga o telas aéreas. Si me faltaran no podría cocinar, que es algo que me gusta mucho, porque lo considero todo un arte y meditación.
Today I have to thank for them and it seems surprising to me how indispensable they are in my life. Without them I could not practice my beloved karate, nor do yoga or aerial fabrics. If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to cook, which is something I really like, because I consider it an art and meditation.
Con ellas puedo escribir todas estas líneas y las palabras que no salen de la boca, pero sí del corazón. En su ausencia sería muy complicado manejar bicicleta, que es algo que he empezado a amar gracias a mi novia.
With them I can write all these lines and the words that do not come from my mouth, but from the heart. In his absence it would be very difficult to ride a bicycle, which is something that I started to love thanks to my girlfriend.
Sin su existencia no podría agradecer o saludar de manera tan profunda, como se me ha enseñado en la cultura oriental. No podría sentir la piel de mi amada al fundirme con ella, ni sentir la cercanía de los míos al darles un fuerte abrazo.
Without their existence I could not thank or greet in such a deep way, as I have been taught in Eastern culture. I could not feel the skin of my beloved to merge with her, nor feel the closeness of mine when giving them a strong hug.
Sé que probablemente me quede corto al describir todo lo que las manos facilitan mi vida, pero es suficiente para sentir un gran sentimiento de dicha y agradecimiento hacía ellas.
I know that I am probably falling short in describing how much the hands make my life easier, but it is enough to feel a great sense of joy and gratitude towards them.
¡Muchas gracias por mis manos! ¡Gracias porque con ellas recibo todas las bendiciones que el Universo tiene para mí, y entrego todo lo que sé que debo dar! 🙏
