Today we celebrate Mother and Family Day in Argentina - Hoy celebramos el día de la madre y la familia en Argentina

This Sunday, October 18, Argentina celebrates Mother's and Family Day. As you can imagine, these dates are very significant for those of us who have our mothers with us and also for those who have them following in their footsteps from a star. Today I want to dedicate my publication to them, those important women in our lives who have given us so much.

Este domingo 18 de octubre en Argentina se celebra el día de la madre y de la familia. Como se imaginarán esta fechas son muy significativas para quienes tenemos a nuestras madres con nosotros y también para quienes las tienen siguiendo sus pasos desde una estrella. Hoy quiero dedicarles mi publicación a ellas, esas mujeres importantes de nuestras vidas que tanto nos han dado.

This Mother's Day is not going to be like the previous ones, since today we have to choose not to see them to take care of them in the middle of a great pandemic that day after day is claiming victims in a chilling way. Today in the celebration we will not share a meal, nor a mate, nor even a simple hug. In Argentina this is not a simple thing because in general we are very demonstrative of our affections and we always find some reason to make family meetings.

Este día de la madre no va a ser como los anteriores, ya que hoy tenemos que elegir no verlas para cuidarlas en medio de una gran pandemia que día a día va cobrando víctimas de una manera escalofriante. Hoy en la celebración no compartiremos una comida, ni un mate, ni tan solo un simple abrazo. En argentina esto no es cosa sencilla porque en general somos muy demostrativos de nuestros afectos y siempre encontramos algún motivo para hacer reuniones familiares.

I believe that women are fundamental pillars of families that are capable of resisting extreme pain and yet continue to fight for their children and the family's support. Great fighters, creators of life and eternal bonds.

Considero que las mujeres son pilares fundamentales de las familias capaz de resistir extremo dolor y a pesar de todo seguir en pie luchando por los hijos y el sostén de la familia. Grandes luchadoras, creadoras de vida y de lazos eternos.

Today my tribute is to the two most important women in my life: On the one hand to my mother who was generous enough to give me life and on the other hand to my wife with whom we were able to build a beautiful family and we were able to weather storms side by side and recover from not so nice moments.

Hoy mi homenaje es para las dos mujeres más importantes en mi vida: Por un lado para mi mamá a quién tuvo la generosidad de regalarme la vida y por otro a mi esposa con quien supimos construir una hermosa familia y hemos sabido sobrellevar tempestades uno al lado del otro y reponernos a momentos no tan lindos.

She was the one who knew how to be my heroine when I was little and as I grew up I discovered, like all of us, that she was a normal woman with her virtues and defects (like every human being) but with a big heart, which is always ready to wrap us up in a tender and warm embrace.

Ella fue quién supo ser mi heroína cuando era pequeño y a medida que fui creciendo fui descubriendo al igual que todos nosotros, que se trataba de una mujer normal con sus virtudes y defectos (como todo ser humano) pero con un gran corazón, el cual siempre está listo para arroparnos en un tierno y cálido abrazo.

From my wife I can tell you, the woman with whom I decided to spend the rest of my days, who gave me the most beautiful treasures you can have in this life, which are children.

De mi esposa que puedo decirles, la mujer con quién decid´pasar el resto de mis días, que me regaló los tesoros más lindos que se puede tener en esta vida, que son los hijos.

After 13 years together we continue to fight side by side, and overcome those small obstacles that arise in everyone's life. Together we learn from each other and above all what is truly important in this life. Proud parents of two beautiful gems that are our life and with whom we learn day by day this great career from which we never finish graduating, which is being parents.

Luego de 13 años juntos seguimos luchando codo a codo, y superando esos pequeños obstáculos que se presentan en la vida de todos. Juntos aprendemos el uno del otro y sobre todo de lo que es verdaderamente importante en esta vida. Padres orgullosos de dos hermosas gemas que son nuestra vida y con quienes aprendemos día a día esta gran carrera de la que nunca nos terminamos de graduar, que es el ser padres.

To both of them, to my grandmothers, to all the women who have the gift of being mothers and to those who without being biologically beautiful mothers I wish them all the best not only on this day but always because they deserve it

A ellas dos, a mis abuelas, a todas las mujeres que tienen el don de ser madres y a aquellas que sin serlo biologicamente son bellisimas madres les deseo todo lo mejor no solo en este día sino siempre porque lo merecen.
