Quisiera contarles la historia de unas vacaciones inolvidables que viví junto a mi familia, eso fue hace aproximadamente 9 años cuando las cosas eran distintas en mi país, en mi vida y también en mi familia.

Hace ya más de 9 años de estas vacaciones, y aunque hoy no es jueves de #tbt quise sacar estas fotografías del baúl de los recuerdos.

It's been more than 9 years since this vacation, and even though today is not #tbt Thursday I wanted to pull these pictures out of the trunk of memories.

Recuerdo muy bien estas vacaciones, nos fuimos a una posada en Chichiriviche en el Estado Falcón en pleno litoral costero de Venezuela; fuimos de paseo durante un fin de semana con mi tío, mi tía, una de mis primas, mi madre, mi padrastro y por supuesto yo.

I remember this vacation very well, we went to a posada in Chichiriviche in Falcon State in the middle of the coastal coast of Venezuela; we went on a weekend trip with my uncle, my aunt, one of my cousins, my mother, my stepfather and of course me.

Fue un fin de semana genial e inolvidable, disfrutamos sobremanera compartiendo en familia. Llegamos a la posada y en seguida nos metimos a la piscina del lugar, al día siguiente nos fuimos a la playa a pasar el día.

It was a great and unforgettable weekend, we had a great time together as a family. We arrived at the inn and immediately we went to the swimming pool of the place, the next day we went to the beach to spend the day.

La playas de chichiriviche no son precisamente las mejores para bañarse porque en ellas hay escombros y basura pero están las islas cercanas a las que todo el mundo va para disfrutar, son unas islas hermosas con aguas cristalinas y cálidas en las que se pasa muy bien, uno puede bañarse tranquilo porque no hay casi oleaje, el agua es reconfortante y la arena es blanca y tersa.

The beaches of Chichiriviche are not exactly the best for swimming because there is debris and garbage on them, but there are the nearby islands where everyone goes to enjoy, they are beautiful islands with crystal clear and warm waters where you can swim peacefully because there is almost no waves, the water is comforting and the sand is white and smooth.

En esa ocasión pasamos un día genial entre risas, juegos y comidas, disfrutamos en familia de aquellas vacaciones contándonos anécdotas, chistes y hasta confesiones; a mi prima y a mi nos consintieron mucho por ser los pequeños en el viaje así que la pasamos muy bien.

On that occasion we spent a great day between laughter, games and meals, we enjoyed that vacation as a family telling anecdotes, jokes and even confessions; my cousin and I were spoiled a lot for being the little ones on the trip so we had a great time.

Fue un viaje inolvidable donde fortalecimos nuestros lazos como familia, fueron tan buenas aquellas vacaciones que siempre que nos reunimos no podemos evitar rememorar aquellos días y nos comprometemos a repetir esa experiencia que tanto disfrutamos.

It was an unforgettable trip where we strengthened our bonds as a family, those vacations were so good that whenever we get together we can't help but reminisce about those days and we commit ourselves to repeat that experience we enjoyed so much.

Por alguna razón que desconozco no tengo las fotos que tomamos en la playa pero les muestro las que tomamos el primer día en la piscina de la posada, en ellas se puede ver lo bien que lo estábamos pasando y eso que solo era el primer día. En las fotografías se puede ver a mi tío, mi prima y a mi divirtiéndonos en la piscina mientras mi tía tomaba las fotos para el recuerdo.

For some unknown reason I don't have the pictures we took at the beach but I show you the ones we took the first day at the pool of the inn, in them you can see how much fun we were having and that was only the first day. In the pictures you can see my uncle, my cousin and me having fun in the pool while my aunt took the pictures for the memory.

Fueron momentos que nunca olvidaré porque fuimos extremadamente felices y que me gustaría volver a repetir con mi familia, esas personas que tanto adoro.

They were moments that I will never forget because we were extremely happy and I would like to repeat them with my family, those people that I adore so much.
