Finally able to purchase a sophisticated electrical (Two Lion protex) machine for my bags and shoe making business.

Who says dreams doesn't come true? If I'm told I would get an electrical machine of this size this year, I might probably laugh it off but here it is sitting pretty in my workshop. I can't even explain how happy I am with this beauty. Now let me walk you through how this dream came to pass with the help of some angels God put in my life.

In the beginning of this year, I hoped in my heart to have a simple electrical machine that would ease my work. The machine I use for my bags is a simple leg paddling machine and it's not originally made for leather work. Due to the fact that that was what I could afford at the moment, I had no other choice than to keep managing it even though making a bag is like a tug-of-war with the machine.

Then I made my wish known to my mum and secretly she started saving up for it. Normal machine goes for around 120,000 naira ($314), but I later found out that's for just clothes and the one for leather cost around 200,000 naira ($517) so you can see its a huge sum. From the little earnings I was making from my bag business, my wonderful hive and my art sales too I was saving little by little. When the pandemic strikes and lockdown started, my savings reduced as my bag sales reduced but my earnings from Hive came through for me and I kept saving. Although I had major setbacks as I lost huge savings to people that had access to my password (how they got it remains a mystery to me) but I never lost hope.

Fast forward to early this month, my mum called me and asked how much I have from my savings and it was just like around 30-40 percent of the cost price. She asked me to bring it and told me her savings would cover the rest plus my little siblings and grandma too gave her some little amount to add to it. They've been seeing how much I stress over my machine they felt it would be nice to contribute a little to help. I was so speechless at that point and don't even know what to say. I just hugged them all and prayed for them showing them my gratitude. They are angels sent into my life always coming through for me whenever I need them.

Last week monday, we went to pay and order for the machine and it came in last week Friday.

Below are pictures I took while they are assembling it. It came in late that was why the pictures are dark.

The machine is so strong, it could even stitch shoe Nora and some sole. I even put layers of thick leather together and it went through like it was nothing. Awesome!!!

Now I just have to learn how to use it because it's different from the one I'm used to.

THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY BLOG AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
