Income loss in Axie Infinity as a manager

Money up until this point and from here on out

Most of you must have heard how Axie Infinity has changed drastically. While I did take quite a bit of profit in my endeavors, I was kind of counting on it as a consistent source of high income. Frustrated with how it's now earning me a third of what it used to be using my seven or so axie teams, I'm looking back at my course of actions to identify what could have been done better.

A lot of scholarship managers failed because they never tried to learn the game's economy. Scholars are important, sure, but breeding, keeping up with the meta and AXS development are supremely important. We've been aware of hoo the team focuses on AXS more than anything else, so as a manager who can invest in AXS, that's clearly the most important thing to do if we want to keep up with the game.

I should have bred what was profitable, taking my investment money back as soon as I got it. Those are very profitable one-shots that take only 5 days to sell. It was great for a few months, yet I didn't take much advantage of it. Flipping opportunities aren't supposed to be ignored. Taking them for granted, the best ones have partially faded away already. Now, I'm looking into the existing profitable breeds.

Staking a few thousands worth of AXS assure I will keep breeding acceptable teams using the stake's claims itself. I can just buy slp and breed away. It's a slow, but steady process. Who doesn't want a reliable path to stay relevant in Axie Infinity? That's what I want to go back to as soon as possible.

Last but not least, at some point, my axies were worth around 10k USD. Considering my 4k USD investment and the fact that I had already earned a lot from scholars, I should have sold out at that point. It was good. It was so good! Too good. Of course it wasn't going to last. My gut feeling told me it was time to sell, but my selfishness had me take a wrong turn.

These have been my most important negative takeaways from my manager experience. I hope you've learned something from it. From this point on, I'll plan appropriately taking my past mistakes in consideration.

PS: I still got 100%+ profit over 4 months.

thank you so much! Please do lemme know if there is one! I have been eyeing at Axie for the longest time but the sheer amount of initial capital is so depressing, asking for a whopping USD 1k. I am so keen on joining nevertheless. Do lemme know if there is a slot, I would be more than happy to jump on board and learn as well! thank you so much @felipejoys
