Beautiful Sunday Update April 14, 2024
After the Ramadan, many people are affected with cold and flu. Today, I felt a little bit numbness to my body. Yesterday, the sister of my boss told me that I have to go to their house again so I went there. They loved thruway I massaged them and they will be feeling healed. Long before, when I was younger, there were so many people specifically women that I rendered hilot/massaged and they gave me money. But now, my madam refused and didn't allow me anymore because I am already older. I respect her will. But for the nearest family, it's okay.
When my fellow #ofw knew that I was coming to their home, they requested me to buy food so we have to eat dinner together.
All the time I bought fried chicken here because there is a family/women section where I can sit down while waiting my order. This is like jollibee in the Philippine.
We planned to order in KFC, Mc Donald, All Bail, or DUNKIN DONUT but, we need car. It's a far distance to our place so Zaky is a friendly place for me. There is a Burger house near to our home, infront of our gate but it is too expensive. #ofw are always thinking the cheaper one and not for our own. Family is always in our mindset no matter how we sacrificed for us.
Everytime I visited them, they felt so happy. They 4 Filipina in this family but the other one has no key in their door so she can't get out without her boss. Her boss is a nephew and niece of my boss.
I was surprised what happened to the eyes of She, she met accident while working when the metal hitted into her eyes after the Eid party. She had black eye when I visits them last night.
We wish we could go to the sea for a swimming but all our boss are busy. I cannot initiate to ask permission. I know, they will not be allowed to go without me. I was t to go to the sea myself but the driver asked much money because he have to wait for us for 1 hour. My boss is no lo her going there for a long time after the birth of so many grandchildren. They are afraid the babies flung into the sea water.
Friend chicken for my cats
All the bones and bread, I took it with me so I have a gift for the cats. Some of the friend chicken, I gave to my African friend that made her happy.
*Look how happy my cats but Blacky was not coming but in the morning I gave him fresh milk. This is for #Saturday😇😇😇.
Later night, I hope I can visity friend whom her husband died in the Philippines but she can't go home. She has no money after 15years of working here. She even not spending her vacation. It is 15 years in a row, without going home but she told me yesterday that she waits the decision of her children to come now after the burial. I felt bad but I can't do any move for herself. I advise her before to go with me but she refused. The reality of an #ofw.

You are absolutely right, I myself suffer from colds a lot, although I take medicine for it regularly. But I don't like KFC, Mc Donald's at all. Try to enjoy locally made fast food. Because branded foods are quite expensive. And yes, it is also true that the joy of enjoying something together with the family is really great. thank you very much
