Taking my granddaughter and wife to a small traditional event at Wat Pong Nok, Chiang Mai.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. On days when our granddaughter stays home from school while our autistic son attends, my wife and I usually take her out to enjoy some activities and dine together after dropping him off. Today too, my granddaughter’s school has an activity for junior high school student and high school students, so she (a 2nd grader) doesn't have to go. After dropping off my autistic son at school, we took our granddaughter to a temple in Mae Kha Sub-district. This sub-district is one sub-district away from my son's school, but two sub-districts away from our home. Our morning travel was met with heavy clouds and a drizzle that came and went. The temple is located by a rural road. I captured the atmosphere of the rural road.

This temple is named Wat Pong Nok. Wat Pong Nok is a 99-year-old temple, having been built in 1927. The temple received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree in AD1965 or 61 years ago. We took our granddaughter to this temple because there was a small traditional event. During this small traditional event, people make merit and participate in Buddhist religious ceremonies. There are also numerous food stalls around. Therefore, we want to take our granddaughter to see the small traditional event's atmosphere and enjoy some food too. Shortly after, heavy rain started, preventing us from watching the Northern Thai cultural dance shows and the other cultural shows.
These are some vibes of the atmosphere during this traditional event in Wat Pong Nok.

And some vibes of the food stalls at this traditional festival held at Wat Pong Nok. We also bought fried chicken, french fries, and drinks to eat in our car before heading home.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

Sending you a tip point.
What a lovely and little nice event 💖💖
Are they french fries? That's one of my favorite and also my family's favorite but not every day because it's not delicious if we will eat that every day. Maybe once in two to three months so that we will crave for more.
If there's any event in any place, one thing that I really wants to go was going to the food stores or food stalls because that's where my eyes and my body will crave for new food to try on.
