Living a simple life today by picking a few fresh vegetables from the longan orchard and selling them to the vendor on the mobile grocery truck.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. It was another day where my wife and I lived a simple life at home, though we also walked over to our longan orchard. After we cleared the grass and weeds in our longan orchard last week, there hasn't been any rain, even though it is currently the rainy season. As a result, the orchard is now free of grass and weeds. My mother-in-law just turned on the sprinklers to water the longan trees, other fruits and the vegetables we planted in our longan orchard a few days ago. Keeping the garden lush, even without rain, and with many types of vegetables growing nice. As I’ve told you before, the fruits and vegetables we plant in this longan orchard are for sale, while the vegetables we grow in the garden are for our own consumption. However, sometimes we do picked vegetables from the longan orchard to eat as well. In every day, a mobile grocery truck comes to our village to sell goods and also buys vegetables and goods from the villagers to resell, most of the vegetables in our longan orchard are harvested by my mother-in-law to sell to the mobile grocery vendor. But today my wife and I are the ones harvest vegetables from our longan orchard. In the morning, after we take our granddaughter and autistic son to school, we harvested three types of vegetables from the longan orchard : morning glory, Malabar spinach and Balsam apple tips. After that we gohome and helped each other bundle these vegetables into small bunches to sell for 5 baht each.

Around 11:00 a.m., the mobile grocery truck arrived in our village. My wife took vegetables to sell to the vendor on this mobile grocery truck. She also bought cauliflower from this mobile grocery truck to cook lunch. It is a vegetable we used to plant but never succeeded in planting.

After that, we relaxed at home and didn't do anything until 2:00 p.m., when we picked up our autistic son and returned home. Naturally, we still need to provide our autistic son with close care at home, when we get home. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

I enjoyed reading about your longan story and how your family works together to harvest fresh vegetables.
