Check up day of my baby because of his allergy, cough and cold.

January 22 was when I had my son checked up because of his allergies. His body and legs were itching. The rashes were spread because of his scratching.

There are a lot on his stomach, back, and legs. I feel sorry for my baby because he can't sleep at night and wakes up scratching his body, so we had him checked up the next morning.

There are a lot of white butterflies inside our house every night. My husband says it's very itchy to the skin, and every morning I see many white butterflies outside our mosquito net that are dead because of the electric fan. Maybe this is one of the reasons for my son's itching; besides, the walls of our house are bamboo.

I brought my son here at togonon clinic because it is close to where we live. It's a private clinic for children, and I only have to pay 300 pesos, or $5.09, per checkup. Because our center did not have a doctor that day.

The doctor informed me that my son's rashes are infected and advised me to replace the soap I use on him with lactacyd soap. He also forbade me from doing anything, particularly, I paid 400 pesos, or $6.79, for the SF PKS Cream that he prescribed for my son's rashes.

I also had his cough and cold checked, which kept recurring. It would go away but then return because of the cold weather; especially in the mornings here, it is extremely cold. So the doctor gave me a lot of medications for my toddler. This can be seen in his prescription, He made me to purchase antibiotics and chewable medicine for my child. But if phlegm still there, he said it would be better if pausukan ko na ang baby so that his phlegm in his throat would clear up immediately because he heard a halak at the back of my baby.

We went outside after my son was checked up, but my brother's motorcycle that we borrowed wouldn't start, so my husband had to push it to the repair shop while my son and I waited for a try cycle outside the clinic.
He is busy and happy walking around haha

This is outside the clinic, the sugar cane crops are being harvested.

There was a very hardworking farmer with his carabao who was loading sugarcane into a cart.

After my husband repaired the motorcycle key, we purchased my son's medicine, which was very expensive to me. Because I paid 700 pesos or $11.88 at the clinic for the cream and check-up, and the antibiotics were also priced at 200 or more. We also spent approximately 2,000 pesos or $33.93 on my son's medication.
It's so expensive to get sick, especially now that everything is so expensive, but I'm still grateful because my son's rashes disappeared with the cream, and my son's phlegm gradually disappeared when I started use the nebulizer. Until now, I'm still nebulizing him.

That's all for today, Thankyou for your unwavering support of my post. Until my next blog again, Peace and love. 🫶🏻
All photos are mine.
