My Blue Rare bulbasaur!

My favorite pokemon of all times is bulbasaur. He is my and every pokedex number one. My first pokemon videogame experience was pokemon stadium combined with pokemon Blue. At that time, Nintendo released a way for playing pokemon gameboy games through nintendo 64 using pokemon stadium. Even though we got the blue version, I was so sure about picking bulbasaur- yeah, I'm the grass loving trainer.

Soon I passed all pokemon blue, and I tested a transfer method for sending you pokemons obtained in that game to pokemon stadium. I didn't think it twice and I sent bulbasaur. The thing was that I wanted the stronger bulbasaur I could get, so I re-started pokemon blue dozen of times just to keep getting a fresh powerful worth-to-train bulbasaur.

In the middle of my task, just a few bulbasaurs exhibited quite a different color, and it is not the shiny version we all now by now. It was a dark blue bulbasaur. Man, I went CRAZY trying to get not only my powerful pokemon but with the rare color as well. So, a dozen more times I finally got my pretty rare dark blu strongest bulbasaur in pokemon stadium.

Smash Bros 64: Kicking my Neighbors' asses with Pikachu

One of the most played games in my neighborhood was Smash Bros. everybody had a nintendo 64 but me at that time. You know that friend that invites you to play a game just to beat you up for his own pleasure? I have that friend, his name is Hector. I was invited frequently to play Smash Bros at his house, and of course, I was beaten up hard. But! one day I went to that house with the usual gang (10-12 boys) and I was determined to beat Hector.

I would always choose pikachu. As we started the combats, the jokes followed and the host was winning as usual. I remember saying to all of them laughing at me "you'll see, I'll evolve tonight" (lol) I started winning; they wouldn't even touch me; I added kills and kills all around; Hector chose his best player Yoshi; it was the two of us, but I broke those dinosaur eggs like making breakfast with no effort. I won. Then, I won again. Hector was furious and I kept winning. He chose Pikachu (his second best). I still won. All the guys were so sick of me winning they left. Hector was still trying beat me only to discover more frustration. I don't know what happened that gaming night, but it felt sooo good to wins those bragging annoying pals even though I didn't have the game.

Final fantasy IX jumping challenge

My list of achievements in Final Fantasy games is very long, but I like to talk about this one. Right at the beginning in Final Fantasy IX you play with Vivi and he finds some girls jumping the rope at the square. They offer you to play, and so the challenge begins. Those girls are mean, the rope speed only increases as you reach more jumps. The goal was to reach 1000 to obtain a pretty good shiny armor. I don't know how many thousands of times I jumped that rope, but it was HARD to keep the rhythm for a 1000 of them. After hours and hours, I finally got my thousand mark, and my shiny armor for Reiner!

Metal gear solid 3: finding Kerotans

Whoever knows me can tell I usually don’t like war/shooting games at all. I live in the fantasy world. Metal gear is one of the very exceptions to this taste of mine. I LOVE Metal Gear series, and my favorite of all times is MGS3: Snake Eater. That game is poetry in the flesh with the forming of Big boss by his Master.

This game has the challenge to find certain frogs called Kerotans around the world, and not only to find them but to shoot each and every one of them. Once you do, they produce a toy sound confirming you got them. There is a frog on every part of the map. The hard part was to hit them when in moving sequences or while on vehicles. This game can be completed quite easily in a few hours, but the frogs is another story. I am proud to say that I found EVERY AND EACH of the kerotans by MYSELF no aid while playing this epic game.

Defeating my Nemesis: Omega Weapon! or not...

One of the usual HARDEST challenges in Final Fantasy games is to face deadly creatures, usually at the end of the game or in challenging dungeons, known as Ultima and Omega weapon. during my first FF game, FFVIII, I fought these two beast only to beat one (Ultima) and leaving Omega un-vanquished.

My brothers have trolled me ever since; they always remind me how I couldn't defeat Omega weapon. From that moment on, I have searched, hunted, and sought for this monster in every final fantasy game I play. I have defeated all the following versions, but only Omega weapon from FFVIII remains un-killed by me... we'll meet again!

Zelda BofW: Smelly Seed Achievement

You have probably seen me winning about a certain feature in Zelda BofW, The Korok seeds. Even though it is the WORST joke EVER made in a videogame, I am still very proud to claim that:

To collect 900 seeds on one of the biggest sandbox maps around is quite an achievement. That is why the I find the final price of this titanic task so frustrating.

Genshin Impact: Spiral Abyss conquered for the first time!

One of my last gaming achievements happened on Genshin Impact. As a F2P gamer, it is really hard to progress in this game. The ultimate challenge is the spiral abyss, a set of floors with challenges to test your skills in this game. When I finally built my parties strong enough, I went for this challenge and its rewards. I finally completed the Spiral Abyss 6 months after I started to play this game.
