Historical Murat Bridge / - Tarihi Murat Köprüsü

Greetings, about ten days ago, I visited Muş, which was 70 km away from where I lived, with my friend. Where I am, especially the auto industry is not developed. When a problem arises in our vehicles, we have to go to Batman, Van, Diyarbakır and Muş for permanent solutions. I went to the FIAT authorized service in Muş with my friend who cannot resolve the problem of the new vehicle in local industries. In fact, this visit was to get the repaired vehicle delivery. He had left the vehicle to the service two days ago. After testing the vehicle with the master, we saw that there was no problem in the vehicle in our own eyes. The time was around 14:00 in the afternoon. Instead of returning to the city, we decided to feed our stomach, to walk around the city of Muş. We went to Eywan, the most popular restaurant of Muş to dinner. Since we had time until the evening hours, our route was the historical Murat Bridge.

Selamlar, yaklaşık on gün önce yaşadığım yere 70 km mesafede olan Muş ilini arkadaşımla birlikte ziyaret ettim. Bulunduğum yerde özellikle oto sanayi gelişmiş durumda değil. Araçlarımızda bir sorun ortaya çıktığında kalıcı çözümler için Batman, Van, Diyarbakır, Muş şehirlerine gitmek zorunda kalıyoruz. Henüz yeni aldığı aracın sorununu yereldeki oto sanayilerde gideremeyen arkadaşım ile birlikte Muş ilindeki FIAT yetkili servisine gittik. Aslında bu ziyaret, tamir edilen aracı teslim almak amaçlıydı. Aracı servise iki gün öncesinden bırakmıştı. Usta ile birlikte aracı test ettikten sonra , araçta herhangi bir sorun olmadığını kendi gözlerimizde gördük. Vakit öğleden sonra 14:00 civarıydı. Şehre dönmek yerine karnımızı doyurmaya, Muş şehrini dolaşmaya karar verdik. Yemek için Muş'un en popüler restoranı olan EYWAN'a gittik. Akşam saatlerine kadar vaktimiz olduğu için yemek yedikten sonra rotamız Tarihi Murat Köprüsü oldu.

There are many historical artifacts from the Seljuks in Muş. This is one of them. There is no clear information about when the bridge was built. I've seen a similar bridge in Diyarbakir before. Unlike the bridge in Diyarbakir, it has 12 eyes. As it is longer than the bridge there. The width of the two bridges is close to each other.
Muş ilinde Selçuklulardan kalma bir çok tarihi eser bulunmakta. Bu da onlardan biri. Köprünün ne zaman yapıldığı konusunda net bilgi yok. Bu köprünün bir benzerini daha önce Diyarbakır'da görmüştüm. Diyarbakır'daki köprüden farklı olarak 12 göze sahip. Haliyle ordaki köprüden daha uzun. İki köprünün genişliği birbirine yakın.

The bridge is based on Murat River, as the name suggests. This year, due to the lack of snowfall, the flow rate falls a little, but it is one of the horny rivers in the region. Already one of the largest branches of the Fırat River.

The bridge also has night lighting. I couldn't see the lighting because I didn't stay there until the evening. In every eye of the bridge, one and different lighting made.

Köprünün gece ışıklandırması da mevcut. Akşam saatlerine kadar orada kalmadığım için ışıklandırmayı göremedim. Köprünün her gözünde bir ve farklı ışıklandırma olacak şekilde tasarım yapılmış.

The surrounding area of the bridge consists of a very large area. Sultan Alpaslan Park, which was built in 2020 at the entrance and back of the bridge, is located. I didn't visit this area because it was a very sweltering weather.
Köprünün çevresi oldukça geniş bir alandan oluşuyor. Köprünün girişinde ve arka bölümünde 2020 yılında inşaa edilen Sultan Alpaslan Parkı , Millet Bahçesi yer alıyor. Oldukça bunaltıcı bir hava olduğu için bu alanı gezmedim.

At the other end of the bridge, there is an area of cafe and restaurant, high compared to the bridge. Indeed, it seemed more enjoyable to watch the bridge from a distance.
Köprünün öteki ucunda , köprüye göre yüksekte bulunan cafe ve restorandan oluşan bir alan bulunuyor. Doğrusu köprüyü uzaktan seyretmek daha keyifli gözüküyordu.

We wanted to walk around before sitting in the cafe. As can be understood from the paintings, there is a trace of history.
Cafeye oturmadan önce etrafı iyice gezmek istedik. Resimlerden de anlaşılacağı üzere tarihten bir iz bulunuyor.

There are areas sitting on the chairs outside, as well as structures that can fit 5-6 people. You can easily reach out in these small areas, you can live the similar comfort in your home here, watch the flow of the Murat River remotely quietly and chat with your friends and sip your drink on the other.

We paid around 60 TL for two tea and two lemonade. It is a very affordable price for such a comfortable and laboring business. Those who wish to eat in this place can also say, we have only been satisfied with the drink before we feed our belly.
