Sad Day for me as a Customer Deny me Access to Take Final Picture of Sandals I Made for Him

For some time now, I faced a very difficult challenge from a customer after I made a sandal for him which I never imagined but it was a reality as the customer denied me access of taken a picture of the final sandal I made for him. Sorry that I’m sharing this now with the community because I taught it should be confidential but today I felt to share it in order for me to drive responses and also know how I can be able to deal with such issues whenever they may occur again which I’m not praying for.

How it all began was that when the customer came to my shoemaking office that I should make a sandal for him and after our agreement, we all agreed when he will be coming to collect the sandals but along the way, I faced a challenge from the customer which restricted me from taking a picture of the final product of the sandal. As usual, whenever I’m working on any sandal whether in leather or in crocheting form, I used to take pictures of my product from beginning to the end even when some customers are available because they don’t see it as anything.

Last week, as I started working on the sandal that was demanded by a customer, I was taken pictures of the leather sandal procedures as I used to do with other of my product so that I can share with the community but along the way, the customer came in to have the sandal when I was almost done making the sandal. So he sat down in my shoemaking office and told me that he will be waiting for me to finish the remaining part of the sandals. Along the way, the customer saw me taking pictures of the sandal and decided to ask me what I used them for and I did my best to explain to him thinking that he will agree with me.

Immediately I finished making the sandals and told him to put his leg inside the sandal to see whether his leg matched with the sandal, the customer put his leg inside the sandals and it was his match. I then told him to please remove his leg from the sandal at least to enable me to package the sandal for him into a nylon bag but he refused. I didn’t want to argue with him, I then pleaded with him that I want to take a picture of the sandal, but he still refused by answering me that he don’t know what I will be using the picture for since he has already inserted his leg inside the sandal. I did my best to make him understand that the picture is just for the community but he still ignored my plea coupled with my shoemaking team, I let him be.

I believe that everyone will want to see the final product of the sandal but I promise that whenever such a project from another customer comes up, I will be able to present everything at least so the customer who never wanted me to have the picture can have peace.

We still have to look into the materials used in making the sandal:

Brown foreign leather.

Customized sole through the formations of thick leather.
Buckle.

Sandal fancy pinpointer.

Thread.

Gum.

Tools used will also be considered:

Sewing machine and needle.

Scissors.

Gum.

Hammer.

Procedures adopted will also have to be considered:

Assembling the materials from the market.

Appropriate determination of the sandal size through measurement.

I have to cut some leathers and pad them together to form the sole.

I have to take adequate measurements of the top sandal designs.

I have to make a sketch of the top sandal design on the leather.

I have to cut into pieces of the top sandal leather sketched.

I have to sew the top leather sandal designs using a sewing machine.

I have to join the top sandal leather to get the accurate design needed.

I have to sandpaper the down leather and the top sole but before then, I would have sewed the top leather to the top sole using a needle and thread.

I will now allow the down leather sole and the top to dry with the gum applied.

I will now have to join the complete sandal which is the final step.

Well his foot might be famous now on Hive but he didn't want to lol. I guess a little envious because you have a double economic benefit thanks to that... few understand it.

Greetings friend, have a nice week full of work and prosperity ❣️.
