Flowers, bees and butterflies!
It is a fact that flowers, bees and butterflies are the pollination masters of our ecology!
Now, I know butterflies like the "Acraea" (acraea horta) in the first photo up top, but I honestly struggle with flower names. Nevertheless, I will give it a go here to entertain you, as it is Wednesday that some call "Small Saturday"
Let's go!
Here below we have a red and purplish hanging bell type flower!
Should we call it a "Fuschsia" (fuschsia magellanica) ?
Then we have a "Geranium" (Pelargonium)
This one is easy, it's a honey bee and a Nasturtium (Tropawolum majus) flower!
The bee collected some pollen here!
Now look carefully and you will see a male "Carpenter Bee" (Xylocopa varipuncta) in flight!
Didn't see him? Well here below you can indeed see him!
A "Painted Lady" (Vanessa cardui) here on a Lavender flower!
Finally to bless you with a pot full of Pansies (viola)!
Yes, nature is indeed beautiful and we all know that we have to look after it. Pesticides are the killers that are slowly but surely destroying our healthy ecology.
An oil pipe sprung a leak recently that wiped out life in a section of a river. The question is, why was the oil pipe near a river? There are many man made ills in this life that need to be corrected.
If not then we will all be in real trouble!
And that's all Friends!
All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS camera. A common source was used for flower and insect scientific names!

Pollinators and plants quietly making magic happen, ever present making our world a better place to live. Gorgeous photography on all and sure you got the names for flowers not easy with so many beauties around.

Without pollinators we will be in dire straits as you well know Lady Joan.
Yeah, those flower names always present problems to me.
Thank you and here is also a beer for you !BEER
I rely heavily on my book collection or checking online since many you know and now start forgetting as the years roll on, die ouderdom doktor.
Each time you research you learn something new so I don't really mind, just frustrating when it's there one minute the next it's gone!
Die ouderdom factor hahaha, sometimes I forget my wife's name and just call her darling hahaha.
Yes indeed really distirbing to know that I know something, but to have to ask my mother in law Mrs. Google again if she remembers it. Fortunately she knows everything 🤣
Blessings!
