I love architecture almost as much as flowers. How did you know? There is just something about the way houses were built years ago, there is an elegance that goes beyond the esthetic cover of it. The visual impact takes my breath away.

One has to wonder about all the different people that have lived in those houses. How many were born there? Died there? How many birthdays were celebrated birthdays there? Did the have a pet? I wonder.

The variety of different spaces that were created, the music rooms, the butler's pantries, and, having a renovation that I am doing right now on an 1869 Rustic Victorian, I can honestly say that finding the right way to express the love one has about it, what is to be done to transform it back to it the original dream and desire to make the town more beautiful.

Such a lovely little town, a place that one would love to call theirs. People knowing people, loving thy neighbor, this is what small towns are all about. By the way, I think there are more eateries than stores. :)

At least we know you are being fed. Thank you so much for inviting us to your neighborhood! It was a delightful visit and I hope to get back here again real soon. Your hospitality is beyond reproach. It really surprised me, but, also delights me to know how much effort people put into it. It pointed out our differences in the beginning, but, then, it really started showing how many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others. I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

When I am in this street, I just don't drive by. I usually take a lingering walk and imagine the same things you mentioned. And there are times too when I see some small detail in the structure. It amazes me that craftsmen did those details in areas if the houses where no one may really see and admire their work. Then I think that they must have done it for the love of their craft and perhaps for God and the angels who are the only ones who would see it.
It does appear that there are more restaurants! I think that next #marketfriday, I shall show the other shops. Some are so charming!
Thank you, sweet @dswigle, for the opportunity to show the market place in our downtown area. I love market Friday!
Have a lovely evening, and take care 🥰🌺🤙
