King Arthur (2017) was a fun watch

By this point we have seen King Arthur and the Excalibur in all kinds of adaptations.. movies, series, cartoons, musicals...you name it!

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is definitely not an "accurate" adaptation. It's definitely not an epic "adaptation". But it's imo a unique and enjoyable total reinvention of the myth and the man.

Forget the image of Arthur you had in your mind and prepare for something totally new! And although totally new, very similar in what really matters. Honor, pride, duty, standing for what is true against all odds.

Personally I really enjoyed this movie. The acting did not disappoint, the special effects were pretty good, the action scenes decent although forgettable and I loved what they did with the story. And I laughed a couple times too! They could have toned down a bit the Godzilla sized elephants which felt retarted but oh well...

An epic story told in an unique way. If you are a fan of the Arthurian legend give it a shot. You will either love it or hate it 😆.

I'll give it a 7/10

I agree, and he played the part well. I kept wanting to see the Sons of Anarchy gang role up during the battle scenes :)

I think a 7 is a fair rating. It was fun but lacked in many aspects while doing some pretty well.

It is really entertaining and very Guy Ritchie style, funny and with a lot of action. What happened with this movie is that many wanted to compare it with Excalibur. There it loses a lot in acting and epicness. Greetings, for the record I liked it, of course saving distance with Excalibur.
