Saludos hoy les contare cuales son mis tres comidas favoritas, fui invitada a realizar esta iniciativa por mi amiga @suezoe, creo que la comida es muy especial no solo por su sabor, cada plato guarda recuerdos, por ejemplo, para mí las arepas me recuerdan el hogar y las loncheras preparadas por mamá que llevaba a la escuela.

Greetings! today I will tell you which are my three favorite foods, I was invited to make this initiative by my friend @suezoe, I think food is very special not only for its taste, each dish keeps memories, for example, for me the arepas remind me of home and lunchboxes prepared by mom who took to school.

1. Arepas

Creo que esta es un componente básico y esencial en la mesa de los venezolanos, la arepas al igual que la pizza ya con la preparación de la masa ya tienes lista tu comida, pues el resto depende del gusto y disponibilidad, todo puede ir dentro de una arepa, aunque siempre son más ricas si tienen mantequilla sobre ellas, en Venezuela hay múltiples combinaciones con diferente nombre cada una ejemplo: una arepa con queso amarillo y pollo es llamada la catira, pero si llega queso y caraotas entonces es una domino, existen unas muchos más elaboradas como arepa maracucha que lleva repollo, carne, diferentes tipos de queso y salsas. También existen otras variantes como la arepa andina la cual contiene azúcar en su preparación.

Arepas I think this is a basic and essential component in the table of Venezuelans, the arepas like pizza and with the preparation of the dough you already have your food ready, the rest depends on taste and availability, everything can go inside an arepa, although they are always tastier if they have butter on them, in Venezuela there are multiple combinations with different names each example: an arepa with yellow cheese and chicken is called catira, but if it has cheese and beans then it is a domino, there are many more elaborate ones like arepa maracucha that has cabbage, meat, different types of cheese and sauces. There are also other variants such as the Andean arepa which contains sugar in its preparation.

2. Sopa de pollo

Pero no cualquier sopa de pollo especialmente amo la que prepara mi mami, hace ya bastantes años que no vivo en casa debido a mis estudios decidí mudarme de ciudad y ahora estoy trabajando en esta misma cuidad por lo tanto no los veo tan seguido, es por ello que siempre que vuelvo a casa mi mami siempre prepara un caldito de pollo con bollitos porque sabe que me encantan y como tengo tanto sin degustar sus platos, para mí es como el plato más delicioso del mundo, además de saber que mi mami se esforzó en ese plato especialmente para mí me hace muy feliz.

Chicken soup, but not just any chicken soup, I especially love the one my mom prepares, it's been many years since I've lived at home due to my studies I decided to move to another city and now I'm working in this same city, so I don't see them so often, that's why whenever I come back home my mom always prepares a chicken soup with buns, because she knows I love them and since I haven't tasted her dishes for so long, for me it's like the most delicious dish in the world, besides knowing that my mom made an effort in that dish especially for me makes me very happy.

3. Pizza

Bueno quien puede no amar esta deliciosa comida, es una combinación muy completa y deliciosa, lo esencial de la pizza es su base lleva de masa de harina de trigo y la salsa de tomates con orégano y queso. Pero existen tantas variaciones de esta receta con múltiples ingredientes que se pueden añadir que la hacen cada vez más deliciosa, otra cosa que me gusta de la pizza es su fácil y económica preparación, yo misma me he atrevido a prepararlas y no tengo mucho talento culinario que pueda decirse y me han quedado exquisitas.
