Hello Hive community, today I want to share with you a Delicious Mussels and Pepitonas Sauce, it is cheap and easy to make, I recommend it to people who like to enjoy this type of food. It will be accompanied with feather pasta (or pasta of your choice), for the enjoyment of all family members, mussels and Pepitonas, are a good source of protein and low in carbohydrates, excellent for our health .

Hola comunidad de Hive, hoy deseo compartir con ustedes una Deliciosa Salsa de Mejillones y Pepitonas, es económica y fácil de realizar, se las recomiendo a las personas que le gusta deleitarse con este tipo de comida. El mismo, se acompañará con pasta de plumitas (o con pasta de su preferencia), para el disfrute de todos los miembros de la familia, los mejillones y las Pepitonas, son una buena fuente de proteínas y bajas en carbohidratos, excelente para nuestra salud.

A continuación, les presentaré los ingredientes y pasos para su preparación:

Ingredients: (for 3 people)

• ½ cup of oil
• 250 gr of Pepitona
• 250 gr of mussels without shell
• ½ Paprika
• 3 Tomatoes
• 1 Sprigs of chives
• 30 gr of coriander
• 30 gr of Basil
• 1 medium onion
• 3 garlic cloves
• 4 tablespoons ketchup sauce
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• ½ lemon

Dressings:

• Salt
• Prepared dressing or pepper

Ingredientes: ( para 3 personas )

• ½ Taza de aceite
• 250 gr de Pepitona
• 250 gr de Mejillones sin concha
• ½ Pimentón
• 3 Tomates
• 1 Ramitas de cebollín
• 30 gr de Cilantro
• 30 gr de Albahaca
• 1 Cebolla mediana
• 3 Dientes de ajo
• 4 Cucharadas de salsa kétchup
• 1 Cucharada de salsa inglesa
• ½ limón

Aliños:

• Sal
• Aliño preparado o pimienta

Preparation:

First step:

Wash the Pepitonas and Mussels well (if the Pepitonas are very large, cut them in half), in a pot with water and ½ squeezed lemon, boil them over high heat, to soften them (reserve the cooking broth).

Primer Paso:

Lavar bien las Pepitonas y Mejillones (si las Pepitonas son muy grandes, cortarlas por la mitad), en una olla con agua y ½ limón exprimido , sancocharlas a fuego alto, para ablandarlas ( reservar el caldo de la cocción).

Second step:

While tenderizing the Pepitonas and Mussels, cut the vegetables and greens into small ones.

Segundo Paso:

Mientras ablanda los Pepitonas y Mejillones, cortar en pequeños los vegetales y verduras.

Third step:

Strain the Pepitonas and Mussels (reserve the broth) and fry the crushed garlic and the mussels and Pepitonas in a large frying pan with half a cup of oil, until they are golden brown.

Tercer Paso:

Colar las Pepitonas y Mejillones (reservar el caldo) y sofreír en un sartén grande con media taza de aceite el ajo pisado y los mejillones y Pepitonas, hasta que estén doraditos.

Fourth step:

Add the vegetables and greens, except the basil and cilantro, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes and then add 2 ½ cups of the cooking broth and cook for 5 more minutes.

Cuarto Paso:

Agregar los vegetales y verduras, menos la albahaca y el cilantro, cocinar a fuego medio por 5 minutos y luego agregar 2 ½ tazas del caldo de la cocción y dejar cocinar por 5 minutos más.

Fifth step:

Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 4 tablespoons of ketchup, cilantro and basil, the dressings to your liking and cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce dries a bit and is thick.

Quinto Paso:

Añadir una cucharada de salsa inglesa, 4 cucharadas de salsa kétchup, el cilantro y la albahaca, los aliños a su gusto y dejar cocinar por 10 minutos o hasta que seque un poco la salsa y quede espesa.
