Recientemente transcurrio el dia que es conocido mundialmente para dar declaración abierta y atención masiva a todo aquel que tiene un rinconcito de nuestro corazón, porque se lo ha ganado... por el amor sembrado en nosotros y la amistad incondicional que nos brindan a pesar de las variantes circunstancias que pasamos en este camino llamado vida.

Speaking of great loves... There is no love more unconditional, than that of parents. In my case, I have lived with happiness being the daughter of these two beings who came together and gave rise to a new life out of love. THAT NEW LIFE... SO PRECIOUS, SO ME. So in a sincere and remarkable way, that is the main reason for this publication.

En esta fotografía inicial ven la alegría en el rostro de mi madre y las ganas de comer torta, porque en ningún momento vio a la camara. Definitivamente ella es golosa. ¡jajaja!

Me pregunté que características de sabor y presentación debía llevar la torta. La decisión fue rotunda en mi cabeza. TORTA DE NARANJA CON MERENGUE Y DECORACIÓN DE DULCE DE GUAYABA.
Es como llegar a un equilibrio entre los gustos de ambos. A mi padre le gusta la torta de naranja, a mi madre todo tipo de merengue y es amante al dulce de guayaba. ¿CÓMO LO SUPE? fácil... Eso lo hace la convivencia de tantos años. ¡No hay otra respuesta!
I wondered what characteristics of flavor and presentation the cake should have. The decision was resounding in my head. ORANGE CAKE WITH MERENGUE AND DULCE DE GUAYABA DECORATION.
It's like reaching a balance between the tastes of both. My father likes orange cake, my mother all kinds of meringue and is a lover of guava sweet. ¿HOW DID I KNOW? easy... That makes it the coexistence of so many years. ¡There is no other answer!

Un detalle sin dedicatoria... es un regalo incompleto. Esa leyenda sentimental que te desnuda el corazón. En este caso la elabore con un poco de cartón, hoja de maquina, tijera y marcadores de colores.
A detail without dedication ... is an incomplete gift. That sentimental legend that strips your heart. In this case, I made it with a little cardboard, typewriter blade, scissors and colored markers.

Le declare y presente a mi padre este gesto de amor... Primeramente a él porque lo necesitaba de cómplice y generador de distracción. Para dar le la sorpresa a mi madre. Rol que gustosamente accedió a desempeñar.

La estrategia estaba en marcha... mi padre iba a estar sentado al lado de mi madre (conversando como cosa normal, de nada iba a sospechar) Yo daría la vuelta a la casa hasta el garaje desde la puerta principal (previamente abierta).
Pero a veces las estrategias se tornan chistosas, al mejor estilo de mister bean. Ya les explico mejor : Un vecino llamó al portón (obligando a mi padre a pararse de la silla). Yo no había escuchado ese llamado (porque hubiera esperado el momento apropiado).
The strategy was underway ... my father was going to be sitting next to my mother (talking as normal, I was not going to suspect anything) I would go around the house to the garage from the front door (previously open).
But sometimes the strategies get funny, in the best mister bean style. Let me explain better: A neighbor knocked on the gate (forcing my father to get up from the chair). I had not heard that call (because I would have waited for the appropriate moment).

Yo segui adelante... cuando percibo la mirada fija de madre a una mediana distancia. Entonces el plan no salio como lo esperaba, pero fue motivo suficiente para generar unas sabrosas carcajadas en mi.
I kept going ... when I perceive the mother's gaze from a medium distance. Then the plan did not go as expected, but it was reason enough to generate some tasty laughter in me.

Definitivamente no hay torpeza alguna que pueda borrar o minimizar el bonito momento de la entrega de este postre. Que mi madre recibió con agrado ¡ Y que rápidamente procedió a degustarlo junto a mi padre! YO TAMBIÉN COMÍ TORTA... ¡ASÍ QUE TODOS GANAMOS!
There is definitely no awkwardness that can erase or minimize the beautiful delivery moment of this dessert. Which my mother welcomed ¡and who quickly proceeded to taste it together with my father! I ALSO ATE CAKE... ¡SO WE ALL WON!
