Perler Crafts for Year 2020
Hi Steemiverse,
Hope the life treats you well. ☺️
The other day, I mentioned in my post that I would make a post specifically to showcase my perler crafts in conjuction with Year 2020, which in our Chinese calendar is also a Year of Rat (Chinese believe it comes with its pros and cons and characteristics traits).
To tag along this, ending of December last year and beginning this year saw me busy with perler crafts which shows anything on 2020 or mouse. We saw decorations in malls and red packets angpao showcasing Mickey Minnie Mouses, so why not put this idea into perler beads as well.

I absolutely love this pair as earrings and I proudly wore it during Chinese New Year's visitations.
Besides Mickey Minnie, my son and I did some Number 2020 designs too for Year 2020.
Let's have a look. Some are just classic designs, some are exaggerated designs just for fun. 🤣
Then me being too enthusiastic created another love-theme with pineapple and oranges, because they are must-have fruits during Chinese New Year.
Lastly, we have perler beads coaster as well. I absolutely love those with Chinese characters because it says blessings and double happiness. The gold coaster with good luck words are our classic design.
Although the sales were not so remarkable but we ourselves definitely are super duper proud of all those crafts we had made. Well, we shall admire them ourselves.
Time really flies. Like in a blink of an eye, February is going to end, and we are marching in March. So much happening in the world as well as in the Steem. I just want pray everyone is well and fine and healthy and strong.

Those are all super cute. I hadn't thought about Mickey for the year of the rat, but it makes sense.
My perler bead creations don't always end up being useful or even particularly decorative, they just kind of exist until they make it into the trash can. I like seeing when someone actually puts them to use.
