Christ is closer than we imagine, we can see this in the letters that have been written to us. . .

To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, I was given this grace to proclaim among the Gentiles the gospel of the inscrutable riches of Christ, and to clarify to all what is the dispensation of the mystery hidden from the centuries in God, who created all things;

Ephesians 3: 8-9

Note that Paul says "I was given this grace to proclaim among the Gentiles the gospel of the inscrutable riches of Christ."

Let's see what Jesus said to his disciples:

These twelve Jesus sent, and gave them instructions, saying: Do not go by the way of Gentiles, and do not enter a city of Samaritans

Matthew 10: 5

In the 4 gospels we find the central message "The kingdom of heaven has drawn near", Jesus Christ had come to reign over Israel, we also read:

He came to his own, and his own did not receive him.

John 1:11

Jesus was on earth, healed and ministered to all who crossed their path, but his ministry and that of his disciples was destined for the Jews NOT for the rest "The Gentiles", "By way of gentiles not go, and do not enter the city of Samaritans. "

At that time, that step was missing that would give the rest of humanity the opportunity.

Cristo está mas cerca de lo que nos imaginamos, esto lo podemos ver en las cartas que han sido escritas para nosotros. . .

A mí, que soy menos que el más pequeño de todos los santos, me fue dada esta gracia de anunciar entre los gentiles el evangelio de las inescrutables riquezas de Cristo, y de aclarar a todos cuál sea la dispensación del misterio escondido desde los siglos en Dios, que creó todas las cosas;

Efesios 3:8-9

Notemos que Pablo dice "me fue dada esta gracia de anunciar entre los gentiles el evangelio de las inescrutables riquezas de Cristo".

Veamos lo que dijo Jesús a sus discípulos:

A estos doce envió Jesús, y les dio instrucciones, diciendo: Por camino de gentiles no vayáis, y en ciudad de samaritanos no entréis

Mateo 10:5

En los 4 evangelios encontramos el mensaje central "El reino de los cielos se ha acercado", Jesucristo había venido para reinar sobre Israel, leemos también:

A lo suyo vino, y los suyos no le recibieron.

Juan 1:11

Jesús estaba en la tierra, sanaba y ministraba a todos cuantos se les cruzara por el camino, pero su ministerio y el de sus discípulos estaba destinado para los Judíos NO para el resto "Los gentiles", "Por camino de gentiles no vayáis, y en ciudad de samaritanos no entréis".

En aquel Tiempo faltaba ese paso que diera la oportunidad al resto de la humanidad.
