Brilliant photos! They are such useful birds and they look amazing sitting on those cliffs. Owners of the skies, indeed!

Thank you very much, dear friend @ melinda010100. Even the incredible places in which they live are being progressively damaged by this invasion, which is called tourism. If you add to that the fact that health regulations no longer allow cattle carcasses due to disease to be abandoned as food for them in rural settings, we will see that a break is also being generated in the chain of survival. These birds expressed their concern about the invasion of their environment. Best regards

We see vultures most often around garbage dumps and along roadsides feasting on roadkill. Thanks for pointing out the decline in world populations. I was unaware of what a severe problem this is and was doing some more reading about it.

Well, notice, since you mention it: not only are vultures seen around the garbage dumps, but we are affecting our environment so badly and the species that share it with us, that you even see thousands of gulls in the garbage dumps from Madrid. And I will tell you, dear friend, that Madrid is in the center of Spain, about three or four hundred kilometers from the nearest beach.

The things we have done to the earth are heartbreaking.

And so much. Many, arguably irreversible
