We all need to keep the child in ourself to be able to enjoy ... and I love swings 😁

It's so true what you say, Zac, and the longer you postpone a time out or just a longer break than only a weekend from work or from whatever, the harder the Reset will be, the harder it will be to get away and forget.

Hahaha, I just wanted to end a hefty subject with some humor my friend.
Taking breaks should be common sense, but some like me think that breaks interfere with our flow.
We are important you know and the world can't turn properly without our help 🀣

Stress is a stelthy bugger and by the time that we realize it, then it's too late and we suffer the consequences.
Luckily mountain goats cannot get stress, so you are safe 🀣

Good morning Zac,

I think I have been living too long amongst humans, because stress has become quite a real thing to me 🀣

I took a short break this morning and after a while I stopped thinking of work and could enjoy the calm Spring morning at the reservoir. I sat down, had a coffee and enjoyed ... nobody was on my side, because it's an overgrown area, but on the other side it has been busy with running, biking and walking people.

In the afternoon I want to go for a ride, but there are already some rain clouds on the sky, so I'll see after lunch what I'll do.

Hi Hannes, I am back and this beautiful picture of yours has the same deep blue that we saw in my pictures today. The dam was also a deep blue.
But my photos were taken late afternoon and I used one as the fist photo in my post a little while ago.

Do not worry too much about the rain, as it is neccessary to bring you nice new Spring colors.
At least you had a ride which was great.

Good morning Zac,

sunshine, but no ride, no post - I was just too exhausted, as I was tired yesterday evening too, so I haven't been online after my last reply. Now I'm at work and will try to quickly Hive a little bit till I start actually working ;)

I'll be working this weekend too, but next week is only a short one, followed by a long weekend without work. Maybe this will be my next break :)

Hi Zac,
the days at work are long and exhausting and I can't switch thinking of work off when I leave my office. Too many things are dancing around in my head and it's really hard to stop working mentally at the moment. I do hope I can turn these thoughts off next weekend.

The day is very nice, but a little bit cold, as I think I have already said in another comment ;)

Winter is coming to South Africa - Summer is already knocking on our doors 😊

I hope your Wednesday is nice too, although the weather isn't 🌞

Hi Hannes,
A bad habit to take work home in your mind, as I also had that habit. I even woke up with work on my mind and so, I decided to break that cycle by reading anything that that I could get hold of.
Surely with time I stopped thinking about work all the time.

In your case the camera and the bike are great things to take your mind off work, but you don't get enough of it.
I know how tired you must feel at times.

Your days might be cold, but it will improve as you know my friend.

Our second day of rain and funny as it rains full time during the night, but early morning about just before noon it stops. The clouds soon gather again and that wind starts howling again.

I posted about the sunset in the clouds last night, but tonight it is dark and the sun went on holiday.

Maybe the sun went to Austria to give the mountain goat a warmer day tomorrow 🀣🀣🀣

I wake up in the middle of the night thinking of things I need to do and if it's 3 or 4 I sometimes can't fall asleep again till the alarm goes off.
Really bad, I know, but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Today I have showed my new co-worker some things she has to do. Yes, she's back at work, but only for two weeks and then she's going to a rehabilitation clinic for a few weeks. Till she is back again she will have forgotten everything πŸ˜‚
So, the light at the end of the tunnel is still far away, it's a very long tunnel, but I can see the light πŸ˜‰

It was raining for the second day today, but it's dry now and tomorrow should be fine, as well as Sunday, but I am working on Sunday.

I think I have said it before already, but I didn't have any time today, so I will have a look through the posts later.

Ah! When I wake up I also can't sleep again so I get up, but thankfully it's closer to to 4am in the morning and then I am up for the day. I rarely remember dreams and it's just as well as they will drive me crazy, as the ones that I can remember are always very weird.

You will just have to walk that mile long tunnel my friend and you are correct, as eventually you will also get to the light. Maybe 7 years from now 🀣

Yeah, always a hassle to work on a nice day and I feel for you.

If I don't have to work the next day I would also get up at any time in the night, but if I have to work I try to fall asleep again, and after a while or sometimes even hours of being half asleep it usually works ... and five minutes later the alarm rings 🀣

Yep, I don't see another chance but to work a few years more πŸ˜…

Nope, when these eyes open, they stay open and for the life of me I can't sleep when it's daylight.
You in turn are lucky, as you can sleep at work 🀣
But I wouldn't suggest that you should have an alarm at work, as the bosses might hear it 🀣

Ja, ja, okay, you meant the alarm at home and you don't sleep at work, only sometimes 🀣

We have window blinds which don't let any light through ;)

But I could sleep at work and I do get paid while I sleep at work like tonight - I would wake up when the others wake up and make noise 🀣

Good morning Hannes,

For some reason no light in the day doesn't help me, as my mind knows it is daylight outside.
Long ago I tried to sleep in the day and I actually fell asleep for a few hours, as I was dead tired. But that night I couldn't sleep at all. So I gave it up as a bad job.

In my minds eye I can see all of you asleep, then one awakes and strat to make a noise and then everyone else wakes up and automatically make a noise 🀣 Hilarious 🀣

If I was a boss I would get you lot on camera and load it on Facebook 🀣

I know what you mean, and as I said, if I don't have to work I get up. If I come home in the afternoon, after working since the day before I lay down and fall asleep almost immediately, but like you I will be awake in the night. So I try not to lay down on such days πŸ˜‰

A post like that would definitely go on trending on Hive, especially if it's a dramatic one.
Such as a sleeping woman hanging half off her chair and a sleeping guy leaning forward with his face in his lunch on the desk.
Another guy can sit sleeping with his head hanging backwards and snoring at the ceiling 🀣

Of course to cover they will say that they only made fun 🀣
If you look carefully you will see the sleep in their eyes.

One guy was sleeping and when he heard somebody coming he jumped up from his chair. His belt hooked the chair and he stumbled and fell on to the printer, which gave him an electrical shock when the printer fell off the table, as he grabbed it by the cable.

He was cross-eyed when his boss entered the room and his excuse was that he was doing some stretching excersises to stay fit 🀣🀣🀣

So yes, you cops know how to cover up 🀣

Nah, I don't know if it's a true story, but yes it is very funny, especially for your and my imaginations 🀣

I am training the new group of "Champs" today at 12 noon, as we now have a schedule of two Thursdays per month for the rest of the year. A good thing is that they are eager youngsters, so there's hope that they will shape well.

Hahaha, so his second home was the filing cabinet, he should have also put a small coffee machine in there 🀣🀣🀣

Yes it was funny indeed and I am glad that we are having fun here on Hive.
I call them children, but they are all in their 20s Hannes. The one is even older and he is a qualified Pastor. What they need to know is how to create improvement in their communities.
