It didn't rain yesterday morning after 2 days of mostly rain. I had an interview at 1500h. I decided to go out to get an early lunch before going online for the interview.
经过两天的大雨后，昨天上午天晴。我在下午3点要面试所以决定提早去吃个午餐。

Passed by a coffee shop. Still early but there were a few people already.

This one also had the tables and chairs set up.

The fish monger wasn't busy but I could see inside the market a few people were still buying things.

Damn, the wanton noodle stall I wanted to get lunch was closed.
哎呀，云吞面摊位没开。
Go to the nearest coffeeshop. The Malay food stall had a long queue. Makes me want to eat mee bus. Ah, the vegetarian stall I went a few times have mee rebus too.
去最近的咖啡店。马来摊位拍长龙。让我想吃马来卤面。嗯，素食摊位我吃过好几次。记得他们也有马来卤面。
Yay, I was sitting there to eat lunch.

$3.50 for a rather generous serving.

Walked back to the food centre after eating.

Got my first coffee of the day.

Finished the coffee and decided to go the supermarket. McDonald's looked quiet enough.

Got my temperature scanned before going in.
量了体温就进去。
Wow, hadn't that many bananas for a while and they were cheaper than the usual $1.50.
哇，有阵子没见那么多香蕉在这里而比平常的$1.50便宜。
Next, to get a loaf of bread too.
接下来，去找一块面包。
A couple of beer were on sale. A friend once said brewery are good business. When you're happy celebrate, you drink to celebrate. When you're sad, you drink to drown your sorrows. But don't buy these please.
有些啤酒在做促销。一位朋友曾经说过啤酒的生意都不错的。当你快乐，你喝酒庆祝。当你悲哀，你喝酒解千愁。。但别买这些。
Instead go to the side. They have Chang beer. Buy these because I have shares in a company called ThaiBev.
走过去旁边。他们Chang啤酒。买这些，因为我有这啤酒厂商的股票。
Hmm..., this nuts station is new.
嗯......，这买果仁的厨是新的。
I paid and left and had no reason to stop but these new bench was there under the sun. It would have been under the rain yesterday. I don't think this will be much use by people.

That looks like a great lunch there. What is that cispy-looking topping on that dish @ace108?
That's the think call "mock goose" but it mostly made from something called bean curd skin and deep fried till crispy. That's mostly available from many vegetarian stalls.

I will be back tomorrow to put in some words that mean more than just a spacefiller. I was disappointed Friday and Saturday to find the site mostly down as I tried to get #MarketFriday done.
