Finally , I Quit...!!
Do you ever have those days where you just want to quit?
I was having one of those mornings today. I was cranky and tired and feeling like giving up on being Steem content creator. Call it after effect of HF21 I see no more benefit in working on sharing content which will give me half of value. I had few payout post HF21 and feel sorry to see my reward splitting up.

Like many, I have joined Steem, to earn reward and made all possible effort to keep active every single day since Oct'2017. In my endeavour, I met many awesome people that made the journey a memorable. But at the end money matters too and can't see my rewards of my work splitting up.

I have invested my hard earned Steem on different upvote project to boost my rewards, as those option were better than self voting. However, after HF21 it feel like I am sharing my upvote value with others as I am not getting what it could have worth. After considering and analysing few days, now I am prepairing to un-delegate from all services.as those were not beneficial much now.

I am very much thankful to @digital.mine, @talentclub, @spgroup, @arunava for helping me with all your support last few months. Now I would focus more on Curating few stuffs with my own SP to get little slice of pie from the curation rewards.

In case, anyone having better option /suggestion to maximize return, do let me know to utilise on my 5000 SP.
But investing in upvote services is not what said to be a good return. I will be around here for curation and in case things change , I will definatelly come to join in and continue to enjoy the happy upvote services later.

Sure , you would be earning through curation but not through different upvote services on own post....I am looking forward to learn few trick too.....
Hang in there! I will keep on posting. Not so much for the reward but it has settled in my daily system and will get hard to get out of it! I did post when the rewards where high and when the rewards where low.
I still remember that in the beginning I did had a streak of 15 post without payout.
Every steem you earn is a steem earned!
I do hope that you will come back and entertain us again with your posts!

Hey big brother, I understand, I manage to get few rewards on my post through upvote services that help me build my SP. But 50/50 split is like making a hole in my own pocket. I would rather prefer to curate and see how things build....Ian's in between make few Dtube content....rather than distributing my own sp

I knew HF21 would have this effect... unfortunately.
I do know how those days feel like... I have them a couple of times a week ;0)
Thing is... I stopped making posting a chore. I only post when I feel like it. Sometimes that's 5 times a week, sometimes maybe only 2 times a week, or even less.
Hope you have some luck curating... I still have to figure out how to make the most out of it... without turning it into a chore either. So if you find out any new tricks, I hope you'll share them ;0)
Haha...wish I could be a magician and make my self whale to get maximum benefit. That is only tric I know now.....
But yes after HF21 is like screwing our own work....3 days into hf and I saw some major post getting splitting up.....pretty painful for me to sharing own rewards to others....hope to get along nicely on curation....after I get back my sp
I think you can use the SP to curate rather than delegating to someone.
Yups that seems to be the better option considering there is not much in being a poster
Look at some of my pending curation rewards. With some wise curation tactics, I can earn more than what I could being a content creator.

Sure bro. Actually still I'm experimenting using my VP. With hardfork one should vote before 5 minutes after posting to get more returns. Mine was the top vote for the first few minutes in the last week's steemit featured post (Of @coingecko). I will soon find way to consistently get 200% return in all my 10 upvotes.
5 min Funda I am aware of it....but seems to find the whales who post regularly and get good support....
Curation is they key now I believe! Content creation is much much harder than curating at the 5 min mark.
I just hope people will continue creating original content to curate though 😅😅

That is exactly the case is....post having 1 or 2 payout ends up like peanuts as 50% gets shared ...might the same peanut or more we get on curation. I just saw a 0.04 upvoted fetched 0.67 curation reward. Which is not at all bad

And post hitting rewards over the current reward curve which is 20 Steem! Well, that's not hardfor some people but most people, especially whales will focus on curating people they know that will have a post payment over 20 Steem! The rich get richer lol.
I hope they will split their votes though cause all of us could need a helping hand!
If you been long on steem you would might notice all the whales are auto upvoting each other with 100%.....and there are hardly any manual curation for others. They have their own community ...only few like @ theycallmedan @ nathanmars @ Blocktrades support other and that too exceptional one ...not sure how they going after hf 21.
HF 21 is designed as such only to benefit the big players....

I imagine you won't be the only one that does this. It was a tricky way to get people to pull their SP back from bots ;)
But beneficial only when one is getting massive upvote on their post. People with 1/2 is not going to get benefitted after the reward split up.

Looking at ur rewards id say u make much more posting then u will curating..
Let me try on this new aspect of newsteem. Things doesn't looks good when you will see your rewards splitting up and not getting much of your work.
All my payouts used to be from my own SP which was delegated to different projects but looking now it doesn't looks good. Yet once i decide to make posts, then definatelly I will choose to delegate to al my lovely projects.
Keep posting baba! U can also curate.. just post for the fun of it, not daily.. you make good content when your heart is in it...
I will try.....still trying to get over the Steem intoxication. Currently is like not worth, as even whales haves their own personal group which autovotes each other.
Hopefully, I try to get over the mental jinx and may continue...but thinking and writing has gone far away now
