Dpoll 36: Do you keep a diary?

By now I wrote over 130 diary days and published them on Steem.

Some people write at home, some publish, some show a video of their daily life.
I am aware not many read it or care about it. I write mine #forthechildren.
Writing for them is what I do since the day they are born and there is a good reason for it. I am a single mom and I want my children to know me. Know me by reading my own words during different periods in my life. I do not want them to hear from strangers,people who never really knew me who I was or what I thought or stood for.

Diaries are polular again.
We do no longer need to read the boring Anne Frank Diary book written by her father only. There are all kinds these days fir teenagers and I have two about rmthe life of a 83/84 years old man.

More and more diaries are published and turn out to be bestsellers. Is it the fact we can peep into someone's life that makes them so attractive or the fact we recognize a lot?

Do you keep a diary or did you ever kept one?
A diary can be something you write, blog about, perhaps you make drawings about your day or notes in your calender? If so do you ever read them back?

Yes I do. I made it into a photobook through photobook application for our memories and other I post as a blog in this platform.

Oh that is great. Through photos I only did during the holidays. I did a lot with the children but you know what? Most of it they forgot. I hope the memory comes back one day.

I kept a diary as a teenager, I still keep it and I like to read it from time to time. I like to observe that even though time has passed I am essentially the same person. Very interesting your interactive post @wakeupkitty

@evagavilan I never knew what to write as a teenager. I did not even know I could write. I.wish I saved my calenders since they would make great diaries.

@putu300 The daily thing is difgicult. For some reason it takes more time. I guess alltogether your journal is a diary or paints a picture of your life, ideas too.

Yes. I used to document via WordPress for more than 100 days worth of diary, but it got disrupted when @vornix ceased operation. I got back with @cnstm for about 100days, again they also ceased operation. So, now my new way of documenting my workout diary will be on video format 😂

@davidke20 I hope that won't get lost. It is a good idea although I wonder if we can still watch it in 10 or twenty years time.

I.saved on cd for the youngest. Already 2 or 3 years later I was not able to read the files and play the videos, watch the photos. I.started allover and print photo since that time and save them the old fashion way in albums.

By the way...I hope you know of @sultnpapper, great person and a great storyteller...he was writing his story on the blockchain for his grandkids...but then he stopped...guess he figured that they will never read it..😕

@abbak7 Actually my kids read it all and the eldest have the.diaries written for them. They are all readers and love to write and are creative. One is an animator and makes movies that say enough.
No, I do not know @sultnpapper. Actually I.started here to.write something about my "family" that should be told and would not be deleted by the web master or owner because my "family" threats them... that worked and the rest?
I do not believe that what is written here remains forever, my children get older so in a few years they know who I am.

As far as I remember, I wrote a diary (or something like that), when I was a little child.
Nowadays I am not writing a diary.
