It is amazing how those praised for doing Humanitarian things are the most inhumane among us.
I remember when I was in middle school, we supported, through fundraising, an organization called Covenant House. It was run by a priest to focused upon getting runaway children off the street. Years later, I read that the guy got caught up in the whole sexual assault on children in the Catholic Church. He was taking runaway kids off the street and abusing them.
Like Dalglish, another wonderful humanitarian acting like an animal.

Bruce Ritter
Rev. Bruce Ritter (February 25, 1927 – October 7, 1999) was a Catholic priest and one-time Franciscan friar who founded the charity Covenant House in 1972 for homeless teenagers. By the 1980s, it had grown to an $87 million agency, operating numerous large centers in New York and six other major United States cities, as well as locations in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Latin America.
In 1990, Ritter was forced to resign from Covenant House after widespread reports that he had engaged in sexual relations with several young boys in the care of the charity, and had financial improprieties in the operations of the organization.
Thanks for the comment. I was also going to mention my experience working with several NGOs abroad and how I personally witnessed corruption, coverups and highly questionable behaviour of higher-ups towards female staff, volunteers and women from the target communities.
This Ritter guy fits the M.O. of these types of predators, no doubt. Street kids and runaways are prime targets as they have no guardians or trusted adults to protect them from these monsters. IDK, I don't really like covering this type of thing, some people might argue otherwise (lol), but it really is deflating to see how wide spread this type of immoral and criminal behaviour is. The very people who pose as protectors of children are the ones who prey upon the weakest and most vulnerable in society.
