Friends of Steemit, "Holy Week" is approaching in Venezuela, it is customary to make many Creole sweets, today I present the "Guava Helmets ", which is our seasonal fruit. I hope you like it and take the opportunity to do it as a family. Everyone likes it!

INGREDIENTES:

• 1 kilo de guayaba, 2 tazas de azúcar, 1/2 litro de agua, 2 limones.

Ingredients:

• 2,3 pound of guava, 2 cups of sugar, 1/2 liter of water, 2 lemons.

PREPARACIÓN:

• Lavar y pelar las guayabas.
• Extraer la pulpa y ponerlas en remojo con agua y el jugo de limón por 30 minutos.
• Mientras tanto preparamos el almíbar con medio litro de agua y las dos tazas de azúcar, de la siguiente manera: Llevar al fuego el agua, al hervir, agregamos las dos tazas de azúcar, dejamos que se disuelva por unos 10 minuto y luego agregar los cascos, poner a fuego lento por 15 minutos.
• Bajar del fuego y dejar reposar, rociar con el almíbar.

Preparation:

• Wash and peel the guavas.
• Extract the pulp and put them to soak with water and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
• Meanwhile we prepare the syrup with half a liter of water and the two cups of sugar, as follows: Bring the water to the fire, when it boils, add the two cups of sugar, let it dissolve for about 10 minutes and then add the hooves, simmer for 15 minutes.
• Lower the heat and let it rest, sprinkle with the syrup.
