Does anyone know what's happening in Africa?
This post is a request for information, an attempt to use a social network to try to understand what's going on.
In recent days I have been aware of and following the news about the fires that are happening in Brazil's Amazon rainforest.
Out of curiosity, I went to NASA FIRMS to see the fires, as I do with a similar site in my country.
Much to my surprise, I find that a very large part of the African continent is on fire. I searched the web but can't find any media info about it.
Does anyone know what's happening? Or can you point me to news links about the fires in Africa?
