Frozen city - Actifit Report Card: January 9 2020

Tonight I went in to Minneapolis to have dinner with my daughter. She lives in a charming part of the city where there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from her apartment. The snow was cleared from the sidewalks but there were huge icy patches to watch out for!

The weather had warmed up again. For a couple of days it was way down below freezing, but now it is just a bit cold, in the high twenties (Fahrenheit). But that process freezes, melts and refreezes anvthing that had melted.

So we had to step very carefully. But we made it the few blocks just fine. Here is a pretty little church we passed.

Brrrr.. That is some thick ice there in the street! I can almost feel my back in pain as I slip on those sidewalks and try to catch my balance. uggg.. done that plenty of times. We may get a warm snap here in NJ this weekend.. calling for 70F!! What!! crazy weather.

Lovely photography, the path looks iced, I would sooner walk on soft snow than take a chance slipping on that path Jayna.

Oh yes, you have to be super careful. It's much easier walking around after fresh snow than when it has had a chance to freeze up!
